I was looking around on cdwow.com for the Aion pre-order and I found two different Aion's:
Aion: The Tower of Eternity
£24.99
Released: 25/09/2009
AION (ONLINE)
£40.99
Released: 01/09/2009
Can anyone explain what the difference is between these two, except for the obvious price difference?
Comments
one is maybe the guide? and one is the game? cuase 24.99 is usually what guides go for.
Who is down for a dungeon run?

That's English pounds, not Euros in the original post, for those who didn't notice.
So that's about 28euros and 45euros respectively.
Considering that steam is selling the normal for 50euros and the collectors for 60euros, those numbers don't make much sense.
Hence my question on this forum, either way both prices are good.
There's no shipping fee btw.
There is no shipping fee in steam either, it's digital distribution.
There is something wrong with these prices, since they are lower than what one would expect for a brand new game.
www.game.co.uk are selling the Aion for £24.99
If you look on there site they're selling it for that price saying it's rrp is £34.99 but has £10 off.
Play and Amazon have done the same thing also. So £24.99 is standard price in the UK.
Little bit of research saves a lot of speculation.

Seem to be correct, found Aion on direct2drive for 29.95 pounds. That still beats the Steam price.
I guess Steam is translating $1=€1, too bad. That just means Steam is not getting my money. D2D is.
Ended up ordering from play.com UK cause D2D doesn't take gmail accounts, according to them gmail is a security risk.
Then I got a fit when I read about the horrible problems people've been having with play.com and beta keys.
Seems that play.com are back on track, cause with just one email to their customer support I got the beta key an hour later.
Happily downloading the client and hope to see all of you this weekend.
