And I noticed something, that there are in the WoW sector, aren't many complains about the monthley fee. Of course WoW is worth it the problem is. I don't have the money for it. Sounds pretty sad eh?
But I know of course that it is necassary to pay the fee. I mean Blizzard started servers with miljons of Terrabytes in it and they have a lot of them on more then 1 continent but still. I love MMORPG but I hate the monthly fee.
Now I want to know is WoW worth it to pay a fee or not? And if you say Yes or No or even A little bit please explain your answer.

Not yet...
If you compare WoW to other MMORPGs, there is a lot of content missing... so maybe the fee of 15$ is a litte to high for now.
But it will be worth the fee, when some more contents are added.
Looking for good free mmorpg's that r still in beta testing to sign up to, if u no of any please send me an email at jarrowsean@hotmail.com

I have to commend you on your honesty. I think a lot of people feel the same way as you and end up playing inferior games to spite themselves.
On topic, since the monthly rate for MMO's has been $15 for quite a long time, and since I find WoW to be infinitely more enjoyable than any other game, yes... It's worth it.
Yes - In my opinion it's worth it. Also Blizzard's excellent track record with supporting their games, quality, and their excellent Battle Net System tells me if they can't do it right, who can ? The best way to go is 6 Months at a time, costs more up front but is cheaper overall.
IMHO

Well I geuss it is woth it but here in Europe it is 12,- ow The Dollar isn't the same worth as the euro sorry forgoted that one.
But the world is great the weapons are great the charachters are great but still deep in my heart I say f*ck why does it cost so much and I say that because i can't afford it.
I hope there will be a WoW2 or something over 5 years when I can afford it.
But for now this is my sign to WoW ->

STOP COMPLAINING!!!!!!!!!!
If you play WoW 6 moths you spend XXX money on the game! But then you spend almost no money on new games since you play WoW, and don't bother buying new games, since you are already enjoing a game!
So if a NEW game costs 50$ and you buy one a month, that is 50$ a month.
If you play WoW you pay 16$ a month, that is 16$ a month.
So you are actualy SAVING money, playing a wery adictive MMORPG sutch as WoW!
Anyone agree?
Yeah deal with it, or else

If WOW was less expensive, imagine how much more money Blizzard would make. If they were to drop the price maybe 5$, i can guarantee that there will be so many more members that will join.
Personally, i would play if it were 5$ cheaper, i beta tested the game, so i had my dose of WOW for a long time. I just don't think it is worth the fee. Though, if you are a major Warcraft fan, it could be worth the cost. No one will play this game for 2 years straight, it is way too expensive for that. You could feed like 10 families in Africa for that price. I rather give my money to a charity than play a silly virtualy game.
Yeah owkee but you also have to pay the standard price.
And you guys probaply work or something. And i don't (anymore GDM Hate my boss)
I mean i'm frikken 15 and not a parentschild who gets all his money from his parents
And i need to play WoW but I can't I'm going nuts

But I asume that you spend money on other computer games and console games. Why don't you give that money to charity?
If you say that, you are saying that you buy NO games and give them all to charity, and no game is worth monthly fees, but is is less likely to play a game for more that 30 days+, many game don't but many games do!
Buy WoW play for 30 days quit, what is the problem, no you don't have to worry about monthly fees!
But then agian you probably bought some Warcraft games, some new computer games and mutch more.
So you are saying against yourself. I just got to ROLF!

no....the majority didn't purchase this game for shits and giggles. a LOT of people have been waiting for this game for a VERY long time. this is more than obvious due to how many copies blizzard sold the 1st week. as said already, the money is used to expand the game. if people enjoy it this much already, then blizzard's job is to continue that by taking necessary steps. also, $13 - $15 is still a very reasonable price. Start paying some bills and you'll realize that soon enough.
Monthly fee is alright but I wouldn't pay for 6months up front. Altough you might save in the long run you have no idea how boring the game might be for you in 6months. I learned that from past mmorpg, play your first free month then pay for 1 or 3 month max depending how much you like the game and how much you play.
What if nothing new come in 6months? If you play 2hours per day (or let's say 15hours a week) you can cap in 3months or so. I know at 60 there are still stuff to do but if you pay the 6months upfront and want to stop for a month or so you won't have saved any money in the first place.
Anyway just my 2 cents on the 6 months deal.
of Yserbius.
Yann, very good point. The ONE thing i believe blizzard should've done was given the 1st month free like i see a lot of other mmo's doing. But....I also believe that they knew that most of the people WOULD, in fact, be more than satisfied with the game and would be able to feel that they got their money's worth out of it. So, i wouldda liked the 1st month free...but even though i'm paying right now, this game is well worth every penny in my opinion.
GL, HF all.

Yes I believe wow is worth the montly fee.....alot of content....fun pvp....nice items and crafting.....nice variation quests.....alot of cool stuff.....and with the monthly fee.......they can keep adding more of that with either patches or expansions......which i can't wait about a year or a year and a hlaf down the line...hopeing to see the first expansion.....that is gonna be cool.

I used to be COMPLETELY against payin per month for a game. BUT when i sat down and thought it out I came to this conclusion.
a game on average costs about 49.99 + tax.. thats for pc games/console games.
Normally when I'm not on an mmorpg I purchase about a game every other month. There are other people who will purchase one every! month. so your looking at 49.99 x 6 months for me and x12 for others.
6 games=299.94+tax
12 games= 599.88+tax
thats for one year.
NOW if you purchase an mmorpg and LOVE it most likely you will not be purchasing other games for a while since you will be satisfied for a longer period of time
take for instance you get a game like GTA:SA for Ps2... you play it and beat it in 1 month.. now your done you need a new game. MMO games don't have an ending. you pay the same price to play an MMO game for one month as you do any other game... but to continue your play you just pay a smaller fee each month to continue.
mmo game + 1 year = 49.99 + 180.00 = 229.99 saving you money!
Granted not everyone will play a game like this for a year... some only a few months. but if your not playing anything else when you would normally be purchasing games.... You save money.
Now take into consideration I based the last numbers on 15.00 a month.. when some games are 9.99 a month and some also give 6 month and 1year subsciption discounts on top of that.
Now if you still have a problem paying per month... don't bother with these games... but I bet you in the next 5 years.. MOST online games not just MMORPG games will cost per month to play.
EXACLY WHAT I SAID!
Yeah deal with it, or else
