damn prizes and such

So tired of getting a "win one of 20 beta accounts for BLah and dungeons-- enter now"

Only to read in the terms and conditions that only  peeps from USA mexico and canada can win.

 

argghhh, so why on earth do they send me this stuff?? Did I not enter my country when applying to MMORPG?

    Post this on site suggestions.

    I don't have the email option on for the contests and stuff, so I don't get annoyed with it. I just check the home page for new contests every so often. And it IS annoying that its only for North America generally.. but thats not MMORPG.com's choice.. the game developers decide that.

    It is MMORPG.com's choice to send you the email.. which perhapsh they should filter.. but then, post it on site suggestions, not general discussion.

    true true, BUt i got all excited about the dark and light mmorpg, then read the conditions... In fact i very seldom see Europe as a valid region for contest-- and its a bigger market than the USA since this year...

    Strange.. i am from central europe and i had no problem entering any contest over here. and i actualy won some :) (Face of mankind beta, EQ2 beta..). oh.. i think only one didnt allow me to enter, coz i am no US citizen, but that was for some hardware i think.. and many months ago..

    I have never had such luck. Maybe its just the games im interested in...

    It's not mmorpg.com's rules. It's the game developers. So don't get all pissed at this site for something that's not their fault. It has to do with NDAs, not mmorpg.com trying to single out your country from not being in the contest.

    woah -easy on the D-fence dude, i was just frustrated after getting all wound up on the darklight offer...

    But, for the people who can get into the drawings, it makes the chances of winning a little greater when other nations are ruled out :P

    Has been waiting to try out this game for so long.. now looks like I have to wait for its open betta which is ????

    LOL-- i hate u guys!

    Ive never once won anything...

    I did some beta testing so far way back " anyone remember the Parralax-crew?" im talking C64 days !

     

    I suppose the main reason i never end up buying a Mmorpg is cus  I has to stay up really late to play with my american buddies.. that and the fact i never win.

    I have hade no problem to win even if im from sweden i have hade a beta of WOW and EQ2 won!
