A little update on the state of MMOGULS, the promises made and what it means to SGW.
In recent conference calls, MMOGULS has made promises to pay back commissions soon. There is a BIG promise to pay commissions this Monday. Does this mean that the Doctor’s 8 Million is going to be funneled through MMOGULS? Alternatively, would Gary take some of the CME funding and put it into MMOGULS? Well, that leaves even less for CME to make SGW with, now doesn’t it? Wait, maybe they are not making SGW!
Recent editions of the MMOGULS Newsletter contain numerous SGW/CME logos (thought they were not suppose to use those?). I have included a copy for your reading pleasure.
In connecting the dots, I suspect Stargate Battles is being made not only as a quick cash grab by CME, but to also be used on MMOGULS to satisfy the promises made about having a Stargate game, and to keep whatever memberships they have from bolting. People joined MMOGULS to make money off Stargate Worlds, and have been paying their memberships since December. What is left of MMOGULS would fall apart if they do not get something Stargate related soon.
What do you think?

Thanks for the update. I find this whole fiasco fascinating. It's like watching a trainwreck happen. I've been sitting around bored and unemployed and you, Agricola, and Zorvan have kept me entertained. It's better than General Hospital!
MMOGULS and MLM social networking was involved in CME's plans from the beginning. Dan Ellgrin described it exactly in the Leipzig interview with Tentonhammer interview but without putting an actual name to it.
The sga continues CME say they have nothing to do with mmoguls (in the sense of SGW) but the newsletter still shows SGW under mmoguls. Isn't MGM not supposed to be happy with the franchise being shown like this?
MGM will have to take direct legal action to stop them from using the logo and game to scam people. A simple C&D wont stop them, they'll have to follow through and go to court.
Was dan describing MMOGULS or iSnap? or is iSnap now MMOGULS? we many never know ... "Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of CME"
That newsletter is so ugly/unprofessional looking its not even funny.
Just my opinion...........
Put your money in CME, say another $300,000 or so and get some stock, or even a percentage of royalties on the game.
Then pay $250.00 and join MMOGULS.. Try to make it all back by recruiting people in the MMOGULS MLM by promising an opportunity to play " Stargate Battles"....
Calculate your return on your $300,000 plus investment and how long it will take to earn it back, if and when you recruit MLM players, if and when Stargate Battles is launched, if and when MMOGULS ever pays anyone a commission.
So, have you figured where the $8Million CME says they need to launch the game is going, and who benefits in the long run??
Do you honestly believe anything CME has told you in the past concerning MMOGULs? Seriously, at this point only a total dweeb would get sucked in by that bologne after reading the contradictory evidence laid out on this site! Shane was even telling lies here concerning the MMOGULs conection, I already knew the answer to the question but felt like testing his honesty, and the honesty dector test came up as "Deception detected".
MMOGULs has pretty much collapsed, with people not getting their cash out of the pyramid scheme but instead it all going to Gary Whiting. No doubt he's trying to siphon off some throught the dodgy divorce and use the rest to stave off prison time. If others want to be good FanOri and go on pretending it isn't happening and CME may find funding along with the yeti and lochness monster then fine, I find it very entertaining

Ha!

I heard a rumor the other day that CME was so desperate for cash that they were offering people who put cash in, a .5% royalty! Insane. If true, wouldn’t the other investors be pissed that folks who came later with rescue cash get a piece of the royalty pie?
I was visitng the employee blogs over the weekend. Stargate World's Creative Director (the heart and soul of a game) openly blogs that he has not been around for the last month, and that he’s openly looking for new employment (not that I blame him), another reason why 8 Million is just not enough.
CME/Superstition/HandCranked employees have checked out (mentally and physically) so in order to try to bring them back into the fold, you need all their back pay and have planned future pay. Otherwise, it is like throwing 8 Million into the wind.
While I do not support this business plan, it probably would have been better for CME to file bankruptcy and have development taken over by a different studio name within the company. The 8 Million stands a much better chance of being enough to get the game done then.
".5%" interest in nothing, what is the point of that ? Any decent bank will give you mor ethen that on a regular savings account.
That made no sense.

You have misunderstood what was said.. If you bring in "New Money ", they are offering a .5% overide on the sale of the game.. Purportedly, MGM just renegotiated the contract and lowered their royalty over ride from 20% to somewhere south of 12%.
So these incompetent crooks, instead of taking advantage of the decrease in operational overhead associated with the sale and continued management of the game, are so desperate for a money fix, they are selling CME,/CMG stock, MMOGULS placement , whatever works vfor you, and giving an incentive of .5% for as little as $150,000-$200,000..
Lets calculate the ROI...
100,000 games sold day one at $50.00 a game $5,000,000 Gross Revenue
.5% of the gross sale, if that is the way the contract reads, would be $25,000.. So you get the stock and $25,000 for every 100,000 games sold and/or part of the monthly fee collected to play online..
Really doesn't make any difference unless the game comes to life, which is about as likely as me flapping my wings and flying to Phoenix..
have not recieved any commission since I became a member in Dec of 2008. I have sent several e-mails to member services and CME as well as MMoguls to ask questions about this deal. All I have been asked is to sign-up more members and pay a monthly service charge for what.????? To play what,to sell what. All I have gotten is a invitation to see the animals at the MMoguls Headquarters Farm..
But they have not been bashfull about asking me if I would like to invest 200k in CME-CMG Stock..Right!!!! I am on the way to the bank now to cash in my 401 K...And give it to Whitting.........
