LF Game with Group Based Qualities.

SignoreSignore Member Posts: 127

I know I just posted a LF, but I am slightly Indesisive, I decided that the previous thread didn't show the most important quality I am looking for in a game.

I can't stand the games where even with Guilds/Clans there isn't much Group interaction in Dungeons, etc.

I am not entirely Picky but feel free to give some suggestions.

Games to mention that I have played with some Group Qualities:

EQ2

WoW

RoM

Age of Conan

Warhammer

Asda Online

Grand Chase

Was tempted to try Lunia again but I hate Ijji

Warrior Online

Probably Several More noteable ones, but those are main ones I have tried.

DDO.  Pretty much have to group to do most of the content, meant as group dungeon crawling and has a good grouping interface that works well.

EQ.  The grandfather of grouping MMO's, the one that really started the 'must have a group' theme.  Not as much anymore now that mercs are in but still grouping especially on the high end.  Grouping tool doesn't seem to be used much but channels to get groups and I highly recommend joining a guild which makes finding groups much easier.

AO. With the experience bumps to grouping it's really stupid not to group.  You can solo but in a decent group the exp comes pouring in.  Dated game like EQ but they are upgrading the graphics to the AoC engine and if/when it gets done you'll see a flood of old players as well as possibly new ones joining the game.

I'm biased toward group play in MMO's and of all that I've played, these seem to be the ones with more of the population focusing on grouping.  Notice how these are typically older games, it's a shame how all the new ones cater to soloing and make that the path of least resistance so it's always difficult to find a group.

guild wars is good for grouping. but its pretty different then most mmos. there is a low lvl cap so you get to end game quckly, every area outside of town is like a wow instace, so if yo liked those you will probably like this. also, you can only have 10 skills on your bar at a time and you cant switch out side of town so each character is unique and you can decide exactly how your characer plays.
