The august 6th announcement?

The CO devs said they were gonna announce something regarding this weekends beta test, but I missed it, and now the website is offline. And the launcher says  "the website is offline, but normal gameplay will not be affected". When I try to login I get the usual "you're not allowed to login at this time".

Anyone know what the august 6th announcement was?
