Hypothetical Scenario (or is it):
Each and every one of you have been declared unworthy of living. Your resource intake is irreparably out of proportion to your contribution. Meaning, your life is ultimately a worthless drain on civilization. Now, knowing that you are a burden to the world, will you willingly participate in the Great Sacrifice of 2012?

Like I would give a flying fuck about the greater good when my life is on the line. Where's the option 'fight to the death'?
O_o o_O
When the evil Lizardpeople from outerspace arrive in 2012 and declare we are all worthless and must die or be slaves, I'll fight alongside Bigdavo like they did in the television show "V"!
HUMANS ARE NOT WORTHLESS!!!
"TO MICHAEL!"
Sure, I'll participate. By first removing those who instituted this event, lead by example right?
Then after those purges have been completed, halt the purging until the new law that killing of any kind or justification is illegal (yea so capital punishment ends, a compromise I can live with).
And thus ends the Great Sacrifice of 2012.
For those few who died in leading such a cause, we honor them by recycling their bodies at the pig farms.
And that is why...
Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.
If this was like "Logan's Run", I would've been killed off long ago.
This website is a safe haven for trolls and haters. I'm done with this pathetic site.
I'm with Dracus on this one. I'd support a mass-culling for all the pushers of agendas like this. Believe it or not, there are real people with real positions in life that feel this way. They think eliminating people by questionable methods is A-Okay.
Trick is, you never see these douch-nozzles lining up for first-round do you? It's always the ones with the mega-families too, like the Rockefellers for example. All these huge dynasty families with despot-esque methods of running things, past and present. If large families are a problem, as they say, why don't they start with wiping out their whole family?
Then I would consider the method, but more or less just abolish it anyway.. but I won't stop them from trying to set an example for the rest of us.
When is this government program slated to be implemented?
I did not vote.
One thing I know is that I am an asset. I add value.
No. Not a burden.
Who told you that?
I would either participate in it or I would do my absolute best to drain as much shit out of civilization as I can.
Really wouldn't give a damn either way
You are doing it wrong!!!
Now please report to the IRS with your genitial in hand, have a nice day.
Demolition man comes to mind. In which case have a joy joy day.
Who told you that?
EDIT: I have been told I am an asset. Believe it or not. And, honestly, I was told that while working at an accounting firm, which really makes it appropriate. I also have been told so by many sources.
YOU have dignity. YOU have talents. YOU contribute. It is ultimately up to You to handle it. To handle this talent. To be ethical. To recover from your depression over Michael Jackson.
Sort-of get over Michael Jackson and be yourself and be productive.
I would like to think that everybody feels this way about themselves, so if anybody wants our lives, come and claim them, but understand that we wont make it easy for you.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

We sort of live in this idyllic world where we totally take for granted our freedoms and opportunities. All of us have the opportunity to be the best person we can be. It is not about what OTHERS think of us --whether we are an asset or burden; wtf kind of question is that; and how do you even arrive at this question?-- but what we think of ourselves.
REMINDER: The two other most strategically --not to get confused with resoruces, money, military, etc.-- important countries (Iran and China) in the world do not even approach to the freedoms and opportunities that YOU enjoy.
If YOU are not an asset . . . it is YOUR fault.

Ok Who voted for the first one??
And I think tomany people voted for the third...

There seems to be no option to kill the person who decided I must die.
Could put some more context as to who's doing the declaring and how accurate their assessment of your personal value is. If it was an alien race with a super probability device, I might feel compelled to kill myself. If it's some Harvard doctor, then I wouldn't.
You know there is a new V series coming out? Not a mini-series, but a full series.
This program is already in place. At any given moment I can decide that any particular person is a burden and eliminate them. I can continue to do this until somebody else decides that I'm a burden and eliminates me.

I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.
This is some new age conditioning here. A great sacrifice to the greater good? Are you refering to Georgia Guide Stone Rule 1? I hope your not one of those people who believes that our minds are going to evolve and if peoples don't they have to die. I really think something is going tp happen in 2012 but it has nothing to do with a doomsday event. Has anyone else noticed the overload of 2012/alien/new age occultic propaganda in the media in the past couple of years? I think they are going to use that year to fulfill something and use the mayan calender end of the world stuff as an excuse to put blame on. If something does happen in 2012, its going to be a wide array to condition the masses just like when the towers fell.
Now as to your sarcrifice? So your suggesting to kill your self because your a burden on the greater good? Who the hell has the right to tell you that YOU are unworthy of living? By this statement here, everyone should kill themselves simply because you said you use too much resources. Now do I believe that everyone should? No. I am sorry but, no one has a right to tell you if you are unworthy. Seems like a tyrannical effect there. To the OP, turn off the news, its conditioning you too much.
Who told you that?
His mommy and daddy.
You kidding me?
I could care less about the whole global agenda as of these days.
Hell why should I sacrifice myself given like a virus 50 more will take my place, no thanks I'll be with the 51.
