Hello all, I am hoping I can get some help, I am currently in the market for a wireless router to add some connectivity to my home devices (laptop, zune, iphone, ps3/xbox360). I am hoping it to be geared for gaming, though I may end up running a cat wire downstairs to have both my gaming rig and my consoles hardwired for a stable connection and those other devices for minor functions. Anyhow, I was looking at the D Link 4500 but currently seeing a nightmare erupting on their new firmware update along with other complications with their other "gaming" wired/wireless so it is pretty much scared me off. If anyone could suggest some viable, stable, high rated router(s) I would greatly appreciate it. I am willing to spend a max of 200.00 for a reliable and stable router that meets a gamers dream. Thanks!
JD

I have had my eye on these for a while now.

I personally use www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx and my wife and i play Warhammer online, the son playing COD4 and the daughter surfing the internet with no issues at all. I prefer Linksys over all brands and dont get the idea/need for a "gaming router" pating an extra 50 bucks for.
I use a Netgear Super G Wireless Router and dont have any problems at all.
