POLL: Class?

FortencFortenc Member Posts: 427

We have a  poll going for Faction so  I thought I'd start up the class poll.  What is your first character going to be / what is your most anticipated class?

Ranger for me by the way, despite being told that they are the hardest class to level solo.

I can absolutely attest to that. Before the mid 20s, they are very hard to solo with. But then it starts getting progressively easier as the mid 20s is where you start picking up masses of skills for PvP and PvE alike.

As for me, I'm going Sorcerer. I've played a mage type in every game I've every played and I just like the playstyle.

I clicked spiritmaster although I might end up going sorc because of the dots not stacking issue.

Woh! no way is ranger the most popular! Before everyone was dying to play templar and gladiator. Do you reckon this poll is a good representation of what will happen once the game is launched? Will everyone want to be a ranger you think, or just us people that have done a lot of research into the game?

I reckon everyone thinks everyone else is going to be a templar or gladiator so theyve steared clear of them - i hope thats not the case or if it is then maybe i'll be a templar :D

I told myself to play the class that will have the fastest movement speed, so I'll most likely play Assassin at launch.

    Spiritmaster for me.

I enjoy the play style of pet classes.

Hehehe I like SM for the dots. Pets usually end up being a nuisance for me =.

Well I know on the last beta there were so many Rangers running around that seemed to be pretty popular.  I of course was one of them.  So at launch I may go Gladiator or Templar.  Or just stick with the Ranger since i was having quite a bit of fun with it.

Despite being told they're the weakest class, I will be going Spirit master. They seem like my cup of tea as I played a warlock for 4 years on WoW. :P

On my server assassins, clerics and sorcerers were the most common class around.  There were almost no rangers that I saw.  Also, I levelled with my friend who played a Spiritmaster and he seemed quite powerful (I was an assassin at the time).  In PvP videos Spiritmasters are always the ones who end up bringing down the big bad PvPers, too.
