Why did Blizzard even bother?

WoW is the worst MMORPG I've played, seen and heard of. The graphics are lifeless and carttony (aimed at 10yo's) and the questing is as lifeless as making grass grow. The community, on the other hand... are immature 12 yo's running around thinking swearing is cool.

This is why I have started playing a real mature mmorpg: EVERQUEST 2, see ya later, kiddies!

    Hey I played EQ2 for a month before I quit, its a decent game with great graphics and voiceovers. But its not that much fun its beatiful but not enjoyable beyond that. All the classes are so similar basically 4 classes with little tweaks. And its pretty much unanimous that WoW is more fun, look at ign's review, gamespot's and many more EQ2 wins in graphics and sound but wow win in gameplay and overall score. I would play eq2 if it werent for wow. but i love wow and pvp is awesome and will get even better.

    I have retail of both.
