Something to Tide me over until 14

I was actually thinking about playing FF 11, but was curious if there is anything else out there to play till 14 comes out? I do both the pvp and pve worlds and want both aspects if at all possible. I know ff 14 wont be heavy on the pvp aspects but being a summoner is to bad ass to pass up :P

I'm really enoying myself in DOMO ( Dream of Mirror Online ) domo.aeriagames.com/ It's probably one of the best F2P games I've played. There's over 8 classes to choose from and the game is really fun. ( And I've played a lot of them. ) It has a similar job system to FFXI,  where you can use subjobs and you can even spend skill points that will allow you to use armor/weapons from other classes for another class. example : You level merc, who uses spear and axe, and if you spend the passive skill for equip spear, you can change to cleric class and use spear as your weapon. It's pretty cool. The games quality is quite excellent.

Also the graphics are actually quite good as well, but there more chibi/anime style, but there very good quality for a F2P as well.

I'm personally having a blast playing and am quite surprised how solid It is for a F2P. The community is pretty good as well, just make sure you join sapphire server and not Onyx.

If your into PvP and PvE... you can give Aion a try, pretty solid title from what i played in beta. Nice little mix of PvE and Faction vs Faction pvp. $5 down at gamestop for pre-order.. and you can get in the beta. Comes out the end of September.

Yea... well it still beat's them not having any kind of beta what so ever, they could've easily not have had one. All they needed to do was fix the engrish in the game.. for the western market.

    Atlantica Online

It uses turn based combat, you get a party of 9 to fight with, much like the console FF games.  It's a very enjoyable F2P game.

I'm playing PoxNora (a turn based online strategy game), and I just picked up a PS3 salvage for 80$!  Going to hit up gamefly and play through most of the PS3 games out.

As far as MMORPG's I will be testing what games I can as i'm in a few betas already, and have already bought Aion.  I am hoping Aion + PS3 + this PC Game called Elemental coming out early 2010 will hold me over until FFXIV.

Tried Aon. Sucks. Tried Runes of Magic. Not bad, but I can't seem to make myself play for more than half an hour. This week just bites really, as Champions Online is going to be available to me come Monday(preorder benefit) and I'm hoping that game will take me through to the end of the year.

Uhhhhhh.... so many games, so little time. Especially if your talking about MMORPG's. So much hype is built up for all of these types of games and only 1 out of every 4 seems to do "alright." WoW depresses me. Every game I start to play people start leaving to go back to something that isn't truely worth playing. Anyways, my suggestion for some thing to hold me over till the glory of FFXIV is released: Warhammer online. I enjoy the many different classes available, but this game is not for everyone. You have to look past the shotty graphics and truely love PvP considering the whole game is based on it. If working as a group to rip down the infastructure of your enemy from beneath them is for you, give it a shot.
