I'm sure everybody already knows the answer except me and I feel kinda silly asking this but I thought there were gonna be player owned houses & stuff?

    Blizzard has no plans to implement player housing at this time, sorry bud T_T
    As for owned stuff, you can get a mount atleast ^_^

    Actually, long before release, Blizzard knew that they wouldn't be able to get housing in on time because they had more pressing issues to deal with when it came down to it. They had promised to have it in as soon as possible after the release. This was announced like 2 weeks into closed Beta, so I am not sure if they still have these plans, but I'd doubt Blizzard would just drop a part of a game just like that.

    I'm with LoStCaUz3, I remember hearing about player housing early into the beta and before but I haven't heard a thing about it before. They may have decided that its not something they want to put into the main game at the moment. It may be something they have decided to wait on until an expansion down the road where they will have time to tweak the logistics (where the houses would be, vendors for housing stuff...) I think at the moment they have a lot of other stuff that is much more pressing (PvP system, high-lvl dungeons, raids...) and housing will simply be left on the back burner until an expansion comes down the road.

    Heh... with the server troubles they're having now i don't think we'll have to worry about purchasing houses for a long time.  I mean... they can't even keep the login servers up one day after a patch!  Maybe in a couple months... but they have more pressing issues at hand.  Like fixing their servers so their up more often.  Keep at it Blizzard.

    Alright then that makes more sense. "Get a mount" LOL thanks. Anyway, I wasn't really sure about that at all but I suppose, since the game just came out and all, that it would make a little more sense to concentrate on different aspects first. I'm just hopin they add more because I haven't found an MMO as good as this (in my opinion of course) in awhile and I'm hoping that they integrate player housing eventually. I guess I'll just sit back, relax, and wait though. Thnx for the posts.
