Black Mane view on WoW (old pre-bc player)

Ahh the good O'l used to be one of my favorite games on the market till lvl 70 cap. Right now every1 I ever knew stopped playing wow, after 70 because the game just went down hill in our opinion. We remember when Blues were like epics to get and if you had dual dalrends set and full valor on u war u owned. dont let those fel strikers drop. Now, Purple items are like green items and blue items are like common items. The game did a full 180 and went from ages 16+ to ages 4-11. Not trying to bash the game but I believe if they added more content that takes more than 1-2 days to get and stuff that actually is worth working for again it will be alright. World pvp was meaningful you didnt have ironforge and stormwind packed all day waitin on que or such. If you wanted to pvp, you had to get in the field which was very fun. Anyone feel like I feel? Ihavnt even seen wow since i bought and quit BC when it first came out. I know alot of new features were added, but my friends went back and they were like hell no, I got everything i needed in bout a month?! Feel free to troll bash or comment.

To me, none of that really matters. I play the game because it is casual friendly and it is a blast to play with friends. Sure, getting epics is easy but some of the heroics are still pretty damn hard and arena takes a huge amount of coordination and skill in order to be effective. And, after years and years of playing, WoW is the only game that still has a massive amount of content left for me to complete.

So what was the point in your thread again?  Another usless post in the long line that seem to be springing up on this site.

Sorry, Vanilla was lower-than-average, BC was awesome and WOTLK is shit.

Here are the growth tendancies of Wow after patch 3.2.
    http://www.xfire.com/games/wow/World_of_Warcraft/
The instances are too full at the moment. Because of too much played after patch 3.2.
The servers are full in mid summertime because of the altrnate leveling possibilities in PvP patch 3.2
The new Arthas end boss raid with ... 31 bosses is already announced by Ghostcrawler in patch 3.3.
    --- The end result ---
is a thread in full panic from guys like the OP.
:)))) Always nice to see these fruitless efforts bounce on the "too much instances are being played right now".
No more instances can be launched. :)))))

No, Icecrown won't have 31 bosses, it was just a joke made by Failcr..Ghostcrawler.

This is true, but it is still very hard to get the best of the best gear. Just like in Vanilla WoW, you must be willing to raid many many hours with a competent group to come anywhere close to getting that gear.

I don't know why people are always saying that the WoW is filled with Children. If you will research the matter, you will find that is clearly untrue. www.nickyee.com/daedalus/archives/000194.php

Again, while I agree that it is very easy to get epics, it is not very easy to get the most epic of the epic gear available.

I don't remember world PvP ever being meaningful in WoW. I did enjoy the epic battles at Tarren Mill, but there was never any reason for being there beyond PvP itself. Its not like there was truly any real and entertaining territorial control or meaningful rewards for it. That was just never part of this game. This is one thing I actually feel that WOTLK did right. Wintergrasp is a lot of fun and does have meaningful rewards and consequences. At least more so than any world PvP that came before it...

I totally disagree with you about BC. If anything, I felt that WoW was at its best during the Burning Crusade. Heroic instances and raids were very difficult compared to now. I will agree that WoW has gone downhill recently, but certainly not at the BC expansion. Of course, that is only my opinion...
