Apparently, capitalization is out the window as well.  If your going to insult someone's grammar, please make sure your grammar is "spot on".

Tea, as also in the beta and I have to admit, this game is Pure garbage all around, the graphics feel outdated like a COH/COV graphics, the characters are bland, this is'nt a MMO at all, the closest thing they have to it being a MMO is you get to run around a city and try to find quests or Missions, good luck , and making cash in this game is nearly impossible.

Some guns sells for over 3 000 and if your lucky you'll make 20 bucks per game you play BLEH, don't waste your time with this shit.

Ya, I read the OP's post and had to ask if we are playing the same game....   lol

  • JaklaxJaklax Member Posts: 52

Original Poster must be on crack, b/c this is by far the worst game i've played in a very long time.. it will fail very fast when it hits. I couldn't imagine anyone paying to play this game.

Note to self* don't take any future advice from OP

I've had similar issues with MMOs not living up to my expectations... is it just that everything has already been done and anything else is just a new coat of paint to the same old grind? Or maybe developers aren't fully aware of what their final product will be once the dust settles and how gamers will respond- will they carry it and make it work or will it become more like try to grate your teeth through another violation? The concept for this game really caught my eye, but I've been lead astray by too many games in development and to only have my hopes dashed with the final product:  Hellgate London, RF Online, Warhammer online, Huxley even for the same reason and almost Stargate Worlds!  I'm just hoping that at this point SW Old Republic, Jumpgate, Global Agenda, OR Champions Online will be something worth keeping me enthralled for more than a year.

Random question: Has anyone played Combat Arms?  Is the whole money system and weapons selection better or worse than crimecraft?

Life is about take chances and venturing out of your box, making mistakes and learning from them, and doing what you love. Find what drives you, as all paths end the same, so why not make the most of it and live a life worth living without regret?

I keep hearing about how lame this game is.  Well I've been playing games on a computer for more than twenty years and MMO's for about ten and I just gotta say that this game aint as bad is people are saying.

First off, I gotta say, I play on a Quad core, overclocked GTX 286, 25" widescreen, and an enhanced cable connection.  So, If you got issues with the graphics, or lag, upgrade like a computer gamer is used to, or stick to your gaming consoles.

Now, I didnt expect much from this game.  They sent me an invite but I was having too much fun beta testing Battlefield Heroes to care.  Eventually I downloaded and installed the client but expected this game to be another Tabula Rasa.

Initially, the game is indeed hard to get into, (hence the guys who install and play for five minutes, or an hour), but eventually I came to realize that the best thing about CrimeCraft is it's combat engine.  It takes much perseverence before your skills get up to a competetive level.  Many players will want to dominate from the start, relying on thier bunnyhopping skills.  That wont work because the game plays more like SWAT4 than Counterstrike.  No bunnyhopping or rocket jumping.  MMO or not, twitch skills are essential,  you wont be targeting players and mashing hot keys.  This is supposed to be gang warfare, so you'll see small unit urban firefights instead of 32vs32 epic clashes on a battlefield.  Most of the maps are tight so the action is fast and brutal. I find even the ragdoll deaths to be entertaining.

Closed Beta just ended but Open Beta will start in about a week.  The only other shooter games that have online persistent stats and leveling are the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises.  Those combat engines are getting kind of long in the tooth.  And dont talk to me about APB, until its released its just vaporware.

Now, dont go calling me a fanboy, I dont care if CrimeCraft sinks or flies, I just play the beta for free.  That being said, I'll probably buy and play this game for a month.

LOL... you are saying that you would buy play the game for a month...so obviously even with your praising it, feel it is not a long term game worthy of playing for long.

I did the beta...hated it. Why play for a FPS game that is little different than the many other F2P FPS games out there. Sure it may be a bit prettier. Can make yourself a sexy woman if ya want...0.o But really hardly worth putting money into buying.

    this game straight up sucks

monthly fee for counter strike? no thanks

Again, more negativity.  That's fine, vote with your dollars, and all.

But your opinions are based on what?  First round of Closed Beta from a couple months ago?  The game went into Open Beta as of Friday and there are alot more players getting into the game, which has started to show more polish.  So as this tweaking continues through open beta I find more reasons to hang around.

But the best thing is still the combat engine.  I keep seeing little things that get me saying, "wow, that was cool."

I'm just saying I'll prolly spent sixty-five bucks on this game and play it for three months.  I could put alot of hours into this combat engine in three months.  Do I wanna pay $200 and play for a year?  Fuk no, but compared to whats already out there in persistent online shooters and MMO's, I'll give it a try. But that's just me.  Now ya got me sounding like a fanboy again, dammit.

Voting with your dollars is very cool, but your opinion may be pre-mature.  Just keep yer eye on this title after release, to see if CrimeCraft generates any positive buzz.

The game was ok until they changed the aiming thing. Now you have to aim much longer and the shoots dont even hit where you shoot. Plus people found a way to cheat in it and they dont seem to care. I would rather play a 3 year old game without cheats like aimbot and wallhack than a brand new game with it.

I got to level 27 and after that they changed the aim with a patch a few weeks back. And the aimboters dont make the game more fun. All you need to do to play smooth is to have invisiblilty and shootgun max pointed and youre home safe, and oh the granade that drops when you die and kills the guy that killed you PED i think its called. Sorry this game is not for me and I sure as hell am not going to play sub fee every month for it. Wouldnt even play it for free as it is now.

I lasted 10 minutes. I think I'd rather play Counterstrike, FEAR 2, Resistance, whatever instead of this game. The controls were clunky. The graphics were average, although it was refreshing to see a modern setting instead of a fantasy one. Matrix Online might have had something similar, but I never played it..and now won't be able to.. I can't see anyone paying to play this game.

I'm not to bothered by the aiming but 50 dollars plus monthly fee PLUS ITEM SHOP!!!  No thanks, this is not a triple A title and never will be.  The hacking seems to be there as well which is kinda sad but can't say I'm suprised.  Been playing since CB and I can tell you this game MIGHT survive as a free game with item shop but will never make it with its current pricing scheme.

You basically described every MMO on the market.

all in all my  rating is 7.5/10
7.5 because the graphics are decent and you can make friends and enemies, seriously. Be honest. Talk about something that does not break the NDA. Want an example? The game is full of weapons, but more then 80% of them are useless. Shotgun + stealth, that's the FOTM. Sniper weapons are in game, but the maps really don't support it. The game is called "crimecraft" yet there is NO Crime. The city is a chat room, it serves no other purpose. I'm not going any further on this.
Edit: and Just because I can. I'd give this game a 2.5/10. 2.5 for trying to be like GoW.
    its fun
    For maybe 2 days.
    its diffrent
Gears of War (feels the same, not even close to being as fun though) + IMVU. The game is pretty different, but who says thats a good thing?
    its gorgous
    >.> I wont argue with this, to each his own.

    Give it a try .
Listen to this last part. Give it a try, and save yourself from blindly purchasing it. I predict Fury-like. But worse.

This damn game piss me off!! Tested it today at 12:30 AM. All I did in game was stand around in that lame crap of a city watching the same darn clones of  NPC walk in the middle of the darn street over and over grrrr, no missions, could not join a darn thing. CC is lame as hell, I am sorry....I give you props for the skills to create a game that is all.

  • ArzakArzak Member Posts: 5

This game will charge ten bucks a month, after the initial two free months.  If you got a buff computer and have a thing for persistent stat online shooters, this could be the worth a look.

The rest of you have fun playing something else.

  • NorrisChuckNorrisChuck Member Posts: 1

"BAD GAME IS BAD" I would recommend against buying or paying for this game in anyway. Does anyone know if there will be community dev tools or will conetent/maps be exclusive done by the company?

Honestly there seems to be a lot missing in CC to actually qualify it as a completed game, In my opinion. One of many pet peeve/problems I have with the game are Sniper Rifles and there limited ability to zoom in. There are so many complaints I have about this game I could spend more time typing about them then I have actually played the game.

Bottom line is. It is still a beta and I can only hope theyll add more features, enhancements, guns, Maps variety, PVE, ECT

If you like playing Counter-strike, Medal of Honor's, DL and give it a shot but its hardly seems worth buying or paying a subscription fee.

Maybe if they sold it to sony and had it on a station pass game.... naaah, I lasted playing it for about three days. Counterstrike seemed funer even with cheaters.
