A group of lvl 1 characters, all in the same spot are in Hotan. Near Storage. X105 Y60

At least 10 in one spot. Here is the screenshot. To the right of them, at X106 Y62 it is a group of botters on their route to NPC''s.

Hello, This is Silkroad Online.

Your question has been answered as below.

Dear Valued Customer,

Greetings from Joymax Customer Support Team!

We received your message regarding Silkroad Online's rampant bot activity.

We are sorry for the inconvenience that you are experiencing. We are trying our very best to make the game accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Every week, we conduct server inspections specifically for this purpose. Additionally, we also conduct emergency inspections whenever the need arises. We are currently trying to find new ways of ridding the bots from the servers. Thank you very much for understanding.

* Joymax will NEVER ask players about personal & account information, password, and credit card numbers, nor will they ever ask a player for a trade.

* To prevent the loss of accounts, we strongly recommend our users change password frequently.

Thank you for emailing Joymax Customer Support

So they are saying it will be taken care of after inspection and emergency inspection.

GUESS WHAT? There was an emergency inspection today. Now here is what i see tonite

They were logged in again, same exact spot X105 Y60

Now i used to say it isn't JM doing this. Now i think differently. This is every server, confirmed that clusters of bots are just standing there. not grinding, but taking up slots. There was a post earlier today over there, about Egyptian and Saudi Arabian boycott of silk and gold, but it was deleted.

    Yeah, the company is despicable.

But its sort of worthless arguing and complaining.  You'd have better luck calling the police and telling them someone stole your marijuana and you want them arrested.

Koreans are just bad when it comes to business.  They have absolutely no morals.  Its not like over here where the customer is always right and people say please and thank you. They get your money, thats it. They dont care if its fun for you or not,

And emailing/bug reporting.  its useless.  I hope you realise those are pre-programmed responses.

Once i got one that said

"dear customer, we understand your concern about Chocolate Syrup, in all servers.  And we assure you we are working hard to correct this problem."

They use a email system that auto-writes responses, ad-libbing your "concern" into the body of the text.

I hope the whole company and everyone in it has bad karma for the rest of their lives. And i thought asians had honour? lol

    Beer is the answer!
    I forgot the question

    Parents?

Dont be silly, these are Children not cared for and sold to a game company CEO, who decided to make SRO, said children got to work on it, one smart little bastard decided "HEY GUYS! What if we make this game horrible and absoleutely farm-tastic, that way we can get revenge on those bastards that wouldnt adopt us!" "YEAH LETS DO IT =D"

And so SRO was born, in its Farmtastic wanker infested ksing botting scamming community.

I played Silkroad when it first came out. I rather enjoyed it, but yeah...the bots/farmers kill this game. My advice is just go to another F2P game. It will save you a lot of headaches.

yup. i played sro 3 years ago, quit after a month or two, and started again maybe 8 months ago.. then quit after another 2 months. honestly, the players online at all times consists of probably 75% or more. and since there are so many bots, the servers are always crowded.. or almost always. not to mention the client crashes if u fail to get in on ur first try.. i've used no dc clients, but its still too much of a pain to get on. honestly, this game is pretty bad.. i doubt the company even attempts to stop bots...
