Horde and Alliance on the Same PVP server

I just found out that you can make Horde and Alliance on the same PVP server.
That totally ruins everything.
It is almost as if the horde and alliance will have to join forces to take out the lich king (like the ability to group up or something). Which is foreshadowed in one of the WoTLK in-game videos.
All I know is that I am done.

Why lie and pretend you ever started. Another one of these usless posts. Its been like this for 5 years on PVE servers, and u think ruins EVErything on a pvp server now?? Jesus.
Well it doesn't completly ruin it for some. But for me this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Everything that Blizz has done to make the game super easy mode and DKs and now this is just enough. It just seems lame that they would have restrictions about have both factions on the same server for so long and to just get rid of it.
I was talking to people in WoW thismorning and lots of people didn't even know you could do that now. Many thought it was great but others thought that it was bad. The Alliance population on the server I play on is already really low compared to horde, and this isn't helping things.
So for my experience it is ruined. For some this is only the beginning of a great experience. I played WoW for PVP and this for me is the final straw. With all the bad decisions Blizz has been making, I am tired of the direction the game is going.

Done because of the upcoming cross faction transfers.
Well, WOW left any hope for Faction Wars and open world PVP back at the door about 4 years ago, so its a wonder they waited so long to make a change like this.
But if they'd only make a FFA PVP server, now that could be something interesting.

I must be living under a rock lol I had no idea you could do this... then again I haven't played WoW in ages, is this something new?

Because in the red it shows....
Super easy ? Already did the all hard modes did you ...and as a "pvp" freak already a rating of 2000+ with fingers in the nose is it ?

You can't talk about WOW if you don't play it. And it shows in every inch of your post.
I dont get this mentality really. So.... the game is not easy because there are hard modes... i am supposed to login week after week to do the same bosses with a twist just because its called hard mode?
Hard mode was vanilla wow in MC and the likes, not this, this hard modes are crap compared to back then

I don't get your mentality. It's like playing a game and beating it on easy mode, then calling the game too easy. If you want the challenge do it on hard then. Or another example taking a lvl 80 and killing lvl 1 mobs, then saying too easy. Well no fucking duh, you chose to do the easy stuff.

And what hard mode you suggest I do? Cuz i was practically finished in Ulduar but now is poinstless since i can get tier8 from heroic tokens and some better pieces with emblems of triumph from daily heroics.... It appears that the only hard modes now are in that new raid, the one that is a circle = now thats interesting to repeat every week, and good variety of scenarios in there.... very pretty circle it is
They should just let all the factions talk to each other in game than. It's pretty silly to be able to have a char from both factions in the first place, so you can just quick log, chat, switch back. Just let them talk to each other. Just another thing blizz will have changed/gone back on.
Well there is a difference between what you might find interesting and what's hard.
What I said is more aimed at people who just say WoW is too easy, but don't try the hard stuff. Which really pisses me off.
If you're bored with the game though just stop playing till they add more stuff.
On topic though, I don't think it matters much since over world pvp doesn't matter much unfortunately.
I would have liked open pvp as someone else said though, just because someone is on my faction doesn't mean they're not a dick.
I cant believe I'm going to do this ... but I'm going to defend Blizzard.
Maybe 3-4 years ago this would have been a terrible idea. Lets face it, Blizzard never take action against afk botters in battlegrounds so let the kids create lvl 80's on either faction and they can bot farm their honor. At least they wont be in battlegrounds.
And as for people jumped on a lvl 1 toon of the other faction after being ganked and abusing the hell out of the ganker, you can swear like a sailor in trade chat and not even get a warning so no big deal there.
From what I've read, my account is no longer active, is that there are still the normal restrictions in place. You cannot send mail to your characters on the other faction and you can't send BoA stuff to them. Could be wrong though.
A little bit surprised BLizzard did this since I know people who have 2 accounts for PvP realms. Now you can transfer all your characters on 1 account (assuming the accounts are in the same name)
I love this now, my friend was getting ganked in thrallmar by a Rogue and Shaman, a Shaman and I came and started to camp them. Then hopped on Alliance side and started trash talking them. Can only imagine they were pissed off.

People have been able to do this since the original WoW release. You simply need 2 accounts.
