Looking for MMOFPS

NailezsNailezs Member Posts: 4

hi guys

im looking for a very specific mmofps

something that combines the character creation, customization, and advancement of a mmorpg or a regular rpg

examples of that would be deus ex, just with more character customization(in this case, classes were needed in deus ex)

something like StarGate Worlds was supposed to be(before it got canceled that is) and, from what i've read about it, Hellgate: Londan was.

I have played AO, EQ, WoW, EQ2, LoK(Legends of Kesmai) as far as MMORPGs go

I also currently play COD4 MW for my FPS fix, and Cabal Online for my rpg fix

really looking for something to combine my need for rpg and my need for fps

PvE should be the main, some PvP is ok. a decent grouping system is preferable. i dont want to need a group thru the entire game, so the game should also be soloable. Preferable well pupulated servers - the main reason i quit EQ2 was because it was hard to get a group. Theme should be sci-fi or fantasy.

system requirements dont matter

graphics should not be cheap cartoony ones, i hate those. definitely need to be 3d

Huxley, Fallen Earth, Hellgate: London(canceled), StarGate Worlds(canceled), Combat Arms, and Planetside were sugested to me and all rejected.

Huxley - not out yet

Fallen Earth - not out yet, and from what i've read/seen its a lot like Fallout 3. I didnt like Fallout 3, i found it boring.

Hellgate: London - canceled, but i think this would have fit me like a glove

StarGate Worlds - canceled, but i think this would have fit me like a glove

Combat Arms - no rpg element that i could see

Planetside - no rpg element that i could see

if you have any more questions, just let me know!

thx guys

Borderlands is an upcoming game with fps and rpg elements. It advertises that quite a lot, actually.

Huxley may disappoint you, so don't get your hopes up.

i agree that borderlands looks good, i am in fact waitnig for it. but its not a mmo that i can see, "Borderlands™ is built from the ground up to be an exciting, intuitive co-operative experience for up to four players simultaneously that rewards players who work together and invest in co-op skills. Split screen is also supported. "
