the beta is open today. and when i try to sign in, it says "you currently dont have access to aion." so when does it really open?

It always starts friday 3pm EST and ends monday 3pm EST
of course, however, they start early sometimes.

erm...ok...I thought the open beta was after the 17th when closed beta ends....where the heck is this page that says theirs open beta today?

is this a closed beta? or open to the public?
it is closed beta #6 open is after this weekend event.
This weekend is CB 6 the last "closed beta phase"
For players here in central europe it should open at 21:00 CEST, and the beta forums 2 hours before that.

Momo sucks, I have proof.
They have been taking 10-11 days inbetween cbt so id assume open will be from end of august to sep 11th maybe so they have atleast a week to prepare for head start etc thats if they want a 2 week open beta if not id say 1st week of sep to 11th.

If it keeps happening to you, make sure you've chosen the right region in the launcher.
No. There's a different message for when the server is down. Something along the lines of "that account cannot access the server right now".
