Question for Necromancers (About Ravenswood)

MalakhonMalakhon Member UncommonPosts: 224

I enjoy solo play very much.

So far, I've tried a necromancer and a Thuerigist (life) to see if I notice a difference. At the low levels, I do not.

However,  I have read that Necromancer is the ideal choice for soloist.

However, I cannot help but notice as I enter Ravenswood that the teacher only teaches up to level 16 for free.  The Thuergist has access to spells much higher level in his chosen school for free.

So can some one explain if there is another teacher for the necromancer?

Also,  should I save my training points in my chosen school, or branch out, and if so, what will give me the most utility as a solist? I thought theurgist, so I can heal although it doesn't seem to fit with the persona concept.

The part of ravenwood that was blasted away was formerly the death school.  Not to woory though, it safely landed somewhere nearby.  You will be introduced to your real teacher soon enough, who has spells for you all the way up to level 48.

For training points, I generally stay in one school.  If you plan on PvPing at level 50, there's some spells you HAVE to have.  Such as reshuffle.
