its for me 3:33 am i have been working at this since 1:00 pm not doing anything and i finally am on this game after creating my character i am so excited to play this game well the retreving map list was slow so i got out of the game went back on and it says the servers are down....NOOOOO

same here. I made my char and now nothing works.
They have nightly server downtime during OB from 1am to 3am Pacific (or something like that). I can't remember where I read it, but it definitely goes offline at 1 am Pacific/4am Eastern.
Actually, it came down at 3:55 Eastern this morning. I didn't even make it out of character creation. At least the character creation was fun....
I'm just waiting for a F2P overhyped sandbox WoW clone with full PVP, epic raid bosses, instanced group content, and Crysis-quality graphics to come out. That, or something fun.
To really leave with the best impression of this game, do NOT leave the character creator. Gameplay will only lead to dissapointment.
