First off my hell of a system can run most games these day with everything turned up. First off I finally got into Champions online. Okay what the hell is with the long loading screens not nice. Also what the hell is with the horrible lag, graphic engine seems very clunky and amatuerish, it's okay looking withthe cell shading (looks like a comic book) and I was expecting it to run without a hitch. Wow just wow horrible game, animations look very clunky as well Oh oh bad sign of what's to come. Cryptic I think jinxed themselves when they sold off the COH/COV, nothing to see here move along. I will just stick to WOW since it works and runs fine, and also WAR since it now runs much better as well. Bye bye. Enjoy Laggy lag online.

Nope I just know quality when I see it, this is not it. Move along. I don't know why these companies bother all they do is put out crap. Give it up. Game is low poly and clunky but runs like its Crysis another crappy game engine. Take off all the bells and whistles and it looks just like wow's low poly engine, (bloom and everything else is slapped on as an effect). Waste.

If you want anyone to take a negative review seriously (and not just label you a troll), at least provide some details.
Based on what you wrote, most people will assume you never even played the game and are just another "wow fanboy".
I seriously think part of the OP's problem is that he's bitter about the ridiculous patching crap from yesterday. If it was smooth, as it should have been, he might be looking at the game through different eyes.
I don't remember any lag. Loading screens were a few seconds? Um...animations look fine to me.
Turn off some graphics options if you getting bad performance. On my computer, it auto-configured itself a bit too high. I changed two settings and I'm running nice and smooth everywhere now.

Horribad patcher is number one (fallen earth a small dev team programmed a kick ass patcher). Let's see bad revamped and recoded graphics engine based on the same engine from their last game with added bloomy crap and cel shading (runs like crap as well). Animations are clunky look okay though they need some help in the running dept. If you notice most NPC's or things happening around you (ships in the air) are on rails it just looks clunky. Shards! umm huh is this guild wars its set up like guild wars and they're charging a sub and have microtransaction are they insane? Sorry man this game screams "FAIL". WOW has an open world way more effects going on in the game and runs like a dream bye bye, blizz is very smart artstyle and gameplay quality over high graphics beats everything.
Now I did not play for long (I got into the CBT through a online gaming mag), but when I did play I noticed that graphics reminded me of watchng a standard definition program on a Hi-Def TV. It seemed very "blocky". Now I had all the settings turned up, but it didn't even seem as good as COH.
Not sure about any lag it ran pretty smooth for me, but looked a little out dated.

Rule of Thumb: Don't let other's judge a game for you. It is irrelevant.
They are only opinions based on THEIR playstyle and expectations. Play the game yourselves so that you may judge them for yourselves.
I will try it. If I like it them yay, if not, I will uninstall and move on.

1) Please qualify your "Hell of a system".
2) WoW didnt work fine nor run out of the box for many.
3) WAR still doesnt run fine for many
4) Welcome to open beta (ie. stress testing). Not saying things will vastly improve come launch, but that's why this exists. They are able to make lots of server config changes by then that help alleviate these kinds of flaws.
Cant comment on much else as i was a patcher victim last night, but i'll be sure to let you know what i actually think about the game instead of judging it on a superficial level.
I had no lag. The launcher patched within a half an hour and I don't think I have a "hell" machine. All graphic options are set to high as well. It was pretty good first day. I understand that some people had problems, but there were a lot in game when I got in. The animations, I agree, could use some work. I don't think they are "clunky", just a bit odd. Although, the vixen stance was rather nice, as well as the beast stance. I think they had cell-shading turned off yesterday. At least mine was. I tried to turn it on, but the option was shaded out. I guess for testing purposes.
The load screens, can be a little crazy sometimes. I was hoping this game wouldn't be as instanced as it is, but, after playing CoX for four years, this game's load screens are a piece of cake. I love the variety in costumes, much better than CoX when it released.

I have heard people with their pentium 4 system of 3gig and 1 gig Ram calling their system hell of a system. Try to give us specifics. Processor,Ram and video card then we might be able to gauge your system and game performance. Even 2gig Ram is not enough and many people complain not realising their system indeed plays WoW well enough but fails on other games.
My comps a bit older then yours except the CPU. Im using a :

4870 Overclocked to hell
At the moment I havent ran into any lag except the login area when you first start. That was minor though. Loving the colorations and textures. Ive noticed for some odd reason my brothers computer which is better then mine isnt rendering half the textures I see. Very odd. I get the feeling people arent even seeing the same game Im seeing when I see some of these posts.
