Opened some gifts in the morning. Grandma came over and we all had Turkey lunch. Then later on my Aunt, Uncle and cousin came over so we all just hung out. Then later on around 7pm, my brothers and I went to my dad's house to have dinner and open gifts over there. That's where I got my DS hehe

Happy holidays and a belated merry christmas to all, no matter what your religion or if you believe in anything or not.
The best gift I got was to see my grandfather up and around and feeling better. He has been fighting prostrate cancer and taking chemo. Hasn't been able to walk or eat. The good news is that his cancer might be either in remission or not advancing so no more chemo. He got to come off of it a week before christmas. Despite me have a very crappy year, seeing walk around, laugh and eat smoke turkey and other good eats made up for it all.
The next best gift was to see my dad playing with his new pc I built for him. He had a socket370 Intel Celeron 300mhz with about 256mb of PC133 ram and a 3gb harddrive that was over 7 years old. It wasn't the latest or fastest thing that I built for him, but it will do for what he uses a pc for. I put together a pc for him out of some parts I had lying around: AMD Duron 1.6ghz cpu on a PC Chips M825Vxx boad, 512mb of PC3200 ram, a 52X CD ROM drive and a 52X CD-RW drive, and an old Radeon 7200 card I had lying around because he doesn't play games, but it would at least be an improvement over the onboard graphics on that PC Chips board. I also put a 40gb 7200rpm hd for the o/s and main files and bought him a new external 120gb 7200rpm hd to store his music and pictures on and back up files on.
For myself, I got an eVGA nVidia 6600GT video card and a HP PSC1315 printer/scanner/copier. I got this kewl chess drinking game too. The pieces are shot glasses in the shape of the different chess pieces. You feel up the pieces with your favorite liquor. When one of your pieces are taken, you have to drink the liquor out of that paticular piece. The looser is the first one to pass out or get check mated whichever comes first. There are several variations to the game. One interesting one is that the looser has to finish off the remaining chess pieces on the board.
