Open Beta Sept 4th?

Kinda makes sense and how I figured the time frame. My guess is Sept 4th to the 14th. Pre-selection on the 15th. Head start on the 20th.

Pre-selection is you get to choose ur server, name, and how ur toon will look.

A period before Head Start in which pre-orderers will be able to create their character and save their names. Pretty fair considering the complexity of the character creation tools, especially after the major patches.

Just wish they would list the dates on their site. I had heard it was suppose to start open beta this coming weekend.

Didn't mean to get anyones hopes up. Just passing on some info I saw at aionsource. I'll edit the thread when it's confirmed.
well, any threads mentioning sep 4th on aionsource are being pulled as we speak, so i guess it's very much in unconfirmed (or just wrong) territory... they clearly dont want to release a date right now..
I wouldent keeep my hopes up. You shouldent try to spread around false dates because what if it gets anounced that it's Sept 3rd, and some people don't check because they already herd it was the 4th?
That would be bad news, missing out on a full day of beta. So don't spread false dates unles your sure.
When did they announce they were even gonna have an open beta? I know about the Pre-selection and headstart.
4th wouldnt suprise me.
The 3rd is a national holiday in the UK so as a fairly large part of a EU playerbase would be best to avoid that date and for all I know the servers could be in the UK even with NC having a base here. and unless you going to pay tech's a lot of money to work that day minimum double time would be best avoided.

well who knows the date anyone? if not the 4th when.
While it would be cool if it was that long I highly doubt ob is going to be eleven days long. Truthfully though, I hope you're right and I'm wrong. Hell, i hope we're both wrong and its even longer. Doubt it though...

What the hell are you talking about? What national holiday on the 3rd sep is it in the UK? I live, and always have lived in the UK and never had a national holiday on this date. Do you even live in the UK yourself? Maybe you are just a little bit dumb and your "mates" have been winding you up.
