When do you think AoC will launch expansion?

I am putting my hand into dragons nest but ... I am kinda curious when do you guys think FC will be launching Godslayer. Speccialy since FC is on a thick ice here and they have to launch full content (NO BETA paying shit!!!) with promising stuff (I am a bit spectic about advancement system, how will martial arist skills unbalance classes, and how will tiger quest be - could be only a shit grind ) or they are history.
So I would say right after 2010 launch will happen. But I think best time would be november (but almost impossible I think ... speccialy since we know how slow FC is at those things) - that would be best I think.

Since I don't think the expansion comes with the core game I don't see a November release for it. My guess is anytime between Jan to May 2010.

After Cataclysm tops the sales charts...
One to two years before it is ready to be released! Everyone knows that is how Funcom rolls. Why not get paid for beta tests when you can sale boxes while beta testing?
I'm supprised they don't release it next week so they can beat Aion ; p

Well there is lots of stuff already made (trailers and other insight videos revealed quite a lot of stuff)
Somewhere between May-September 2010 I think. Why? I won`t go into that part.
Around summer next year I guess. We've got 1.05 cycle going on at least in September too. Then 1.06 for another 3-5 months. I'm guessing 1.07 is in before the expansion for another 3-5 months, and then the expansion 2-3 monhs after there again.
If they're further ahead than they seem, the expansion might be next after 1.06. That should give an expansion sometime next spring
They better launch it soon. Not much keeping me playing at this point except raiding and with the horrible "loot drop system" Funcom implemented its getting discouraging to play much longer.

Cataclysm will destroy sales charts, simply from the number of former WoW players wanting to check the basically new game out. The hype surrounding the launch will be huge as well.
I am leaning that Rise of the Godslayer will come out before Cataclysm by a couple of months. Most likely in the August / September of 2010.
I think that is a fair assessment.
We just don't know how far along they are with it. Although vids from the GC show quite a bit.
I would think:
Patch for Iron Tower, on test in Sept / release end Oct/early Nov.
1.06 on test October out by Dec/Jan/March (segments)
Tier 3?
Expansion hopes end March / April thinks May 2010.
What the hell are you trolling about again? This is a a thread of pure speculation - it IS about blind guesses, genious. Since we have no solid informations. Even Finaticd didn't make up some numbers to go by with.
And if anything Funcom is known to rush things - the whole AoC deal was beating WoW at deploy time.
Anyway I think september 2010 IS to late. The way I would go with is push either enough content into existing game or release expansion somewhere around december/january because that is the time most dissapointed Aion players will be searching for a new game. 1 on 1 with WoW is a no-go - even if a month earlier that WoW that won't help much. First the game has to be tested and word of mouth has to bring it to WoW players to even have a shot with WoW. If they do anything else they are not competting with WoW for subscribers but with other MMOs.
And as I pointed out it another thread - nothing less than 300-400k people subscribed to aoc can be considered a success. The game costed way 2 much to be niche.
What's your problem? It's just guesses, nothing more, nothing less. No one gains anything or loses anything by just guessing. And I'm pretty sure most don't lose sleep over wondering when the expansion is coming out. Geez it's just a harmless post.

Well, this thread is an honest guess that shows many things (from how much hype to how much people belive funcom and what they expects) ... you know. It is better and has more point than basing your numbers out of funcom report, counting some off an comming with magical numbers, it is better than crying over tiger mount, which was welcomed by majority of population AND it is way better than conan lore followers (conan is idiotic book btw - i have better shit to read than to read conan and to actually defend that lore lol) crying how funcom is killing their book with it's own inteprepretation. Oh yeah, and it is better in saying expansion is shit because it has no level cap while it is a welcomed thing by majority of current players.
Oh and it is 2000 times better than children crying over a game company screwing them over planning some kind of jihad to get back to Funcom.I mean seriously. If I would feel cheated by FC and they would release another game worth my money I would 100% play it. It is like buying that pie from mcdonalds and never comming back because THEY CHEATED ME, THEY SAID IT IS GOOD AND IT WILL KILL MY MOMS PIE ...

Agreed that the Conan stories are good.
However....before you criticise someone for how they spell a name and suggest that they check wikipedia, it would be wise for you to check the wiki. If you had checked the wiki yourself, you would have found :

Granted that the poster's exact transliteration isn't listed there, but it's hardly correct that there is one (& only one) correct way of doing so. Transliteration into different scripts, although there are norms, can vary greatly.
On the original topic re launch dates, I'd guess at around March 2010 ,although that's just a guess. I really hope that they release it after adequate testingand can avoid a rushed release to beat another game's release date. The last thing AoC needs is an expansion that's rushed out of the door before it's ready...
