Since I don't want to pay to get this game just to try it out, I was wondering if there will be a trial for the game?

    I've heard from others that Aion wont have a free-trial until a lot later, just like WOW waited pretty long before having free trials...

    All we know for sure is Aion will have an Open Beta starting on the 6th of September. I'm hoping there will be no free trials for awhile because it just opens the door to spambots.

    Yes, it's a trial of blood, sweat, and tears... Each one must be put in a vial, sealed and sent to AionOnline Corporate office.

    OR, open beta starts early September... register on the website and maybe get in. Otherwise, no word on any trial accounts at this point.

    Open Beta = Free Trial.

     

    Second Open Beta will be in about 1 year.

    I've got a job.  That's why I'm trolling the forums.  My work sucks, but I got a cushy office.

    It's called Open Beta. I sincerely doubt they'll allow trial accounts until they find a sure way to prevent a majority of botting.

    You can also play for 5 hours free if you download the Chinese client. I've also seen chinese spam bots telling me I can buy Kinah in Chinese 10 times an hour. Because of this I will be sure to be against free trials.

     

    If I were for free trials, open up a server dedicated to free trials with level cap of 20. If you want to play past that you purchase the game and one character from your account is moved to the server of your choice. This way players below 20 trying the game won't be able to private message anyone but can still enjoy the content. I just don't want to see the ability for any level 1 character to spam send legion invites to me in order for them to message me that I can buy Kinah.

    trial servers now thats a dam good idea .
