I havent heard of any plans to make a new online fps. I dont mean like counter strike and battlefield, I mean a game like Planetside. Planetside was awesome until you play a few months, it became very repetitive. Once the BFR's came in it ruined the game, maybe that was because I was playing when they first game out.
So are any mmofps's coming out soon. Im sick of the same old server first person shooters. Its so much more fun to play in an expanding world.

There is a game called Twilight War that claims to be an MMOFPS-RPG. The game will supposedly include the FPS action as well as the story and monsters of an RPG. I don't think there will be any form of leveling, as far as I know, but the game is still a year++ off from the looks of it.

I would love to see another MMOFPS - RPG Game, Planetside is cool but it's always the same story..
And yeah, BFR's ruined Planetside imo, hell i even think CC ruined planetside. i just hate the alien overpowered crap, they should have made an urban expansion or a navy expansion instead of alien crap imo

Well planetside was in production for a long time. The original plan was to be urban warfare, but they changed it for some reason. I guess alot of people had their hopes up for ps. Its still a fun game but I always played infantry type characters, and when the BFR's came in they totally ruined infantry. The game forced you to have a BFR or vehicle cert in order to survive.

I hear that Battlefield 2 will have a system where you play multiplayer it saves your guy and you go up in ranks and stuff. It saves it to your account and each server or whatever u play on it adds to your guy.
I think Citizen Zero will have an FPS element? Though I don't follow the game, so maybe someone else could confrim?
Well BF2 is a gonna be a great game but its still a FPS game, not a MMOFPS
