Nows the time to update your Aion Closed beta version to open beta version
If you still have your Aion closed beta game installed, now is the time to upgrade it to the 1.59 version for open beta. All you have to do is click your Aion shortcut logo and the open beta version of the game will automatically download to your closed beta version of Aion you have installed on your computer. Sure beats re-downloading the game via torrent.

You can also download patch via torrent. whichever is easier.

<Bows before NCSoft> its about time a developer gave an option besides Fileplanet, NC has ther own patcher, there own torent, as well as Fileplanet and Gamerhell options . . . every other game needs to take a look at this. I know it can be costly but at least a torrent option.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I started the download last night, but there were apparently some server problems at NcSoft. When I woke this morning it had restarted the download and was almost finished.
Glad to get that out of the way.

Started the NC Launcher late yesterday and for me there was only about 3GB to download and it was done when I got up this morning. Nice and no fuss except that now I need to wait to use it for another 20 days or so.
Mine is only 3GB as well. I'm not sure what could be wrong for the above poster that has over 5GB. Maybe he didn't have the most up-to-date version before today's patch and will need to download additional content?
Humm...since u from England, prob u are updating the Europe Client patch. The European Client Game just shows AION, the north American shows that other one.
If u ask me and just to be safe i would unstall all versions and dowload the European version of the game...just for the sake of not taking my hair off when the game opens and i couldnt log.
I have no idea, but I tied my cdkey to my NCsoft account and downloaded the entire client from them. Then downloaded an update today and now I get a "GameGuard Error 320".
Seems several others over on the Aionsource forums are having the same problems.

i had the same problem, thats why i posted before. Dunno why but i also dowloaded from them and got the AION North America version. In last beta i just unstall all game because i also got the same prob as u. Went fine them.
I d/l ed the CB to OB patch from FP and after install it said it will unlock in x amount of days, and the login screen was messed up. So now I uninstalled it and d/led the full OB and it install fine and everything seems ok except I have to wait till next weekend to play lol.
