I just want the 23th sep (EU) to start playing this for real.... start to get crazy with this waiting time
(20th) Same here I can't really be bothered with playing the Open Beta. Already played for a couple of hours on closed beta to decide how I felt about the game then stopped. Don't see the point in spending a load of hours in a beta only to get everything wiped then to do it again with a 'been there done that 2 weeks ago' feeling. Want everything to be fresh. Really looking forward to the head start.
I'm actually very glad with all this news. Specific questions for the very intelligent few... What is requirement for the OB access? I've not found much pertaining to that, although I have just started looking. Also, oddly enough NCsoft doesn't list American retailers with the capability of preordering. I assume global stores such as EBgames and GameStop should have it, along with the PS/HS availibilty. Assuming the PS/HS is activated from codes like some other mmos. ~I resolved my idea of the PS/HS. Still wondering how OB is availible and when we can sign up for it. China-Aion did not have a wipe after there OB (squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess) Did not matter in the end really because most of the players changed servers in order to play with friends.
NA/EU will have a wipe.

okay im a little concerned though because im sure you need to upgrade your account key from the pre-order version to the official releaese version right? i ordered from gamestop so is there gonna be a problem with me getting into the head start program? help me on this PLEASE!
well i really hope the day's go by faster lol i'm going crazy waiting but now that i heard one more week for me to play OB i guess i can wait woot woot For aion, looking forward to it.

i myself am not going to be playing in OB.
Just because yeah its a week; but i dont want to burn out before the game actually is released and then have to do it all over again for a 3rd time?
As much as i love the game, thats just too much cleric-ness; and will make me never want to make an alt on that game.

No need to worry. You do not have to update the key until the release date. You can play the headstart without it.
