I downloaded this thing twice once from newsgroups and again via the torrent from NCSOFT. file is 9,548,954 KB and gives an archive corrupted error when trying to unpack it.
So anyone else download it via torrent without any issues? My file passes the hash check no problem. My only conclusion is that the file Ncsoft is putting out is corrupt to begin with.
Any one have any better experience or can confirm the file is indeed corrupt so I don't waste any more time on this bullshit please.

Well, I believe is because you don't have the latest zip or winrar version. So try downloading them from their official website and try again. In many cases it works!

Thanks, latest winrar worked. In 5 years I've never had to upgrade winrar for anything /shrug.

I got that error when I tried unpacking it with Winrar, but it unpacked fine when I used WinZip...
Right now I'm getting an error when I try to install the game via Fileplanet. Anyone else?

Sorry. When I double click setup it brings up the Aion window and the InstallShield wizard with the progression bar. When that finishes it sits for a bit and finally brings up a window that says "Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then you can send a error report or not to Microsoft.

download from torrent its working 100%. same was with when i downloaded from fileplanet
