Because of the enormous number of beta applications that we have received (more than 60,000 at the time of this writing), we will not enable all beta accounts on January 1 at once. Instead, we will only enable a number of randomly chosen beta accounts every day, starting January 1.
We require this transition period to better configure our one-world server. By granting access to the beta test in stages, we can better allocate resources where they are required.
We will try our best to enable all accounts as quickly as possible. In any case, if you are not one of the first to be selected, don't worry! The live content we have prepared for you will allow you to join at any time.
Please do not send us any inquiries about when your account will be enabled. We will send you an email notification once your account is active. The selection is completely random, and no exceptions will be made.

Got the mail today. But I am very patient, and hope I will get to help them make this a better game, and see the game as well.
Glad to see the interest, since if this game lives up to its hype it will be the one I am playing.

As soon as i read the email and went created a few more accounts just to ensure that i get a place in the beta right away. Ive been checking my access daily anyway even though its still a couple days away till the official start. Yes i know my behavior is borderline disorder material but i cant help it, i got a thing for groundbreaking mmorpgs.

I am hopeing that they can live up to the one sever...Reading up on WoW a while back I read something like 200,000 people signing up in that first week. If wish got like this then would they be able to do the one sever? I hope so.
But enough of that. Very much looking forward to this game and it is easliy the one I am going to be playing...if I enjoy the beta.
But if they are going to take time to get all 60k ingame maybe they might just extend the beta a little longer

It's great that they've generated this kind of interest and its really gotta give them alot of hope for the future of the game. I myself dont mind waiting as long as they get it right. It's great to see a company be proactive and use a little logic. Take your time and do it right Wish devs. We only want a great game

Simple maths in what time to expect to test wish.
60000 people 30 days of testing. 2000 activated aday would me half of us will see wish beta for less than 15 days

I think its great. It would suck if everyone tried to get on at the same time and the server just crashed and basically never came back up.

hm my twisted math predicts something like the following:
60 000 registered people
10 000 have 3 accounts (60k-20k=40k)
10 000 are people who hate Wish, or come from Fileplanet, etc and they will stopp playing after the first login(40k-10k=30k)
10 000 havn't downloaded the Client/Have forgotten about Wish/and various other small things which will hinder them
(30k-10k=20k)
So lets say around the first 3-6 days they open 30k accounts, they will then see that only
a small % really login and test, so that they can aktivate all accounts immediately

i have to say, i think all of these people who have created 2, 3 or 4 accounts just so they can get in faster, you make me sick. if i was in charge i'd just ban you all from testing.
it's no different to exploiting a bug in-game for your own ends, and it's wrong.
