Well I and several friends gave up EQ 2 for WOW and do not regret it, WOW offers some very big differances in gaming that are not in EQ. You are not as group necessary and you have many things to do that do not require as much time and grinding.
While EQ is a big game in my heart I will have to say that the death experiance in WOW is much less offenve to my time and efforts to go forward.

Tell us what your looking into a game. If your more of a serious 'gamer' then, I'd suggest EQ2, but unless your more of a casual gamer, like myself, who doesnt want to spend that much time into the game, but still have some fun, go get WoW.
