It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
1) Kill Onyxia- ---- one of the coolest fights of Vanally WoW. And its coming Back!!!!
2) Acquire a Rare Mount and other Valued Items -------- What a Great feeling of looting a Rare Mount and Showing off on you new Bad*** pimped out ride. Same thing applies for winning Awesome looking loot.
3) Dominate Aleterac Valley with a fully Coordinated 40 man group, and Win a match in Lake Wintergrade----- WOW AV has been the bomb for Years. it were even more Epic back in the days off Vanally WoW. It had Casual Players Crying there eyes out to Blizzard at the Epicness of it. But dont worry, AV is more Casual Friendly now, and still rocking. But Lake Wintergrade was a True seller for me as WoW first Trully Full World PvP Zone. Siege Battles here are ELITE!!!!
4) Unlock the Wrathgate Cutscene and Strom Undercity with Thrall or Varian Wrynn --- Mug F***ing Epic RP value here people. Dam I was ****ing Pissed when horde betrayed us again, AND HAPPEN TO GET BOVLAR KILLED!!!! YOU ****ers !!!!!!!! JK just a litte RP humor to spice up and already cool cutscene.
5) Raiding Enemy Faction's Capital Cities and Killing their Leaders--- Woot this was Fun as ever. Noting better then having to fight you way through tons of enemy players just to incounter a PvE fight against faction lore heroes. Basically a mix of Extreme PvP and Extreme PvE
6) Complete the Death Knight's Starter Area--- Blizzard did a really great job here. The Phaseing add great Rp value here aswell. And the Light Hope Chapp event was ELITE!!!! the ASHBRINGER RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7)Roll an Alt And play All the Classes and All the Races--- Blizzard has a great Class system that shouldnt be left out. play them and enjoy the muti races that are playable. trust me, all the classes in WoW are different, even if they may seem similar of a gear/ item spread sheet. Also to note: All Support Classes IE Tanks, Healers and such can Solo Very well and Fight in PvP. but that is completely Optional and up to the player on how they want to play both in PvP and PvE. Support or DPS? Whatever you like. this type of freedom is something that Blizzard deserves a thumd up for.
8) Experince the Cav of Time dungons--- Its great to experience the past lore Events in such a way. Being able to fight along side Arthas as he atemps to Stop the Scorges advancement on the Eastern Kingdom Rocks Out Loud!! Helping Mediva Fend off Dragons and Summon the start of the First War. Blizzard did a great job bringing these Epic Lore events to life.
9) LvL up to 80 Cap--- Trust me, which all the things I have experienced, getting to Cap has got to be one of the best (if not dont in a rushhy rush way). When you take the time with the quest, you will trully see how Cool Blizzard's new Questing system trully is. Now we can once again even LvL up in PvP. And with the new Dungon Queue system right around the corner, trying to get a group togetter for a instance will be a thing of the past.. You have Got to experience the Quest that are in Northrend. It's just too epic to let slip away.
PS: No iam not paided by Blizzard, and posted this at my own free will.
(there you go Blizzard, I said it like you wanted. Do I get paided now?)

heh right on can't say i approve of your spelling though.
Good list.
Recently returned. Playing alliance for a change of pace, played horde all those years, think one of those starter zones again would drive me nuts.
Got a gnome 'lock and nelf druid going now.
I think you're title is wrong, Anti Hating Frenzzy? Wouldn't that mean the opposite of what you are trying to say?
Some of us that have quit playing a while ago don't hate WoW, we're just tired of the game.
Done
shall decent the warth of OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND keyboard warriors?
no, just kidding
now: GW2 (11 80s).
Dark Souls 2.
future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord.
"Bro, do your even fractal?"
Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Hmm, nothing really interested that much me from your list. I do like AV, and Wintergrasp has its moments, but otherwise everything else is rather stale, uninteresting, and pve-oriented. I am glad you like some of WoW's features, and I am sure many others will as well, but I think my dollars are better spent elsewhere. I have no hate for WoW, it's a fantastic game, but it's just not compelling at the moment for me.
They can adjust a game all day, but they can't help the issue between the keyboard and the chair.
Played: UO, DAoC, AC, WoW, EVE, TR, WAR, Aion, Rift, SWTOR, GW2, TSW, ESO, Elite:D

Agreed
would he have got people to read it if he said .... 9 Things that are great about WOW
You can find any and all of that stuff in other mmo's. Everyone else has already experienced all that stuff; the names may have been different, but the content is the same.
Just out of boredom recently I fired up the 10 day WoW trial. The one thing I liked was the calender. I've never seen an events calender like that in an mmo before. Its a brilliant idea - although I havnt experinced any of the events, so I dont know if they are any good. But still - its brilliant. But instead of listing that....you list leveling up, raiding, and uber lute as things to experience? I have already experienced all those things; I dont need WoW do show it all to me again.
would he have got people to read it if he said .... 9 Things that are great about WOW
No I mean he has a "double negative" type thing in there. Anti Hating would be mean against hate. Leave the Anti out or replace Hating with WoW, ie Anti WoW. That's all I meant.
1. Onyxia was the VoA of Vanilla. She was pugged and even 3-15 manned, because she was pretty easy.
2. Cool reason, WoW has over 200+ mounts which is a great addition to the game.
3. AV is a grindfest ruined by 71-79 players who want experience these days, so it's pretty dead unless you want to beat a honor/hour record, other than that, it's horrible. WG can be fun at times tho.
4. Yeah, phasing and cutscenes used in those places were very well done, but I wouldn't say it's "such a big deal".
5. Ugh...again not exactly a good reason. It's fun on a "World PvP server", where things are organised but most of the time people will just go: "meh, let them have your war bear".
6,7,9. Leveling up is horrible in my mind to be honest, at least until Cataclysm where things will be remade(I'll have a horde and ally alt to reexperience leveling in Azeroth but until then, I'd rather kill myself than making another alt). Phased leveling areas are nice but they don't last that much.
8. Yeah, it's pretty sad that nobody does 68-70 CoT dungeons(although heroic versions of them were pretty horrible back in TBC, and I know best .__.) but you could probably solo them with a tank. Culling of time is fun in i200 epics but now, with everyone gaining i226+ items from spamming heroics, it's pretty ez-mode.
Look dude, I don't have anything vs you and WoW, I played WoW, I'm playing WoW and I'll still play WoW for a loooong time(well, some TF2, CS and probably try new MMOs in between, but more than that, probably not) but those reasons aren't exactly why someone would play WoW. Sorry if I broke your bubble, but just...yeah.
This.
Actually, I'm sure I could return and find some fun for a while, especially after the expansion next year.
We'll see how it goes.
