Aion Patch

Ok im not sure if it should let me do this but my version at the momeny is Version 1.0.2.14 and its updating to Version 1.5.0.1 but i cant stop it from patching and load up the client and get to the login screen , should if even let me do this even tho its not updated to 1.5.0.1 yet???

 

and this download speed is driving me nuts ... 26 KBs/sec and im trying to download 3038.7MBs.... gonna take forever..

    You shouldn't be able to stop the patching a load up the game.

    Just be patient and let it patch, you can't log in until Sunday anyways.

    what i mean is i have to ask it to search for updates or it just runs , it telling me its upto date , but when i search for updates it finds 1.5 ...

    So it's not updating? 

    Sometimes you have to update it 3 or 4 times because of the patches required to the 3d engine.  If you've tried to update it 3 or more times and it's still saying it's not ready, then I would uninstall the game and reinstall it from Aion's website.  I believe they have a torrent download available that includes the entire 1.5 client.

    ok this is what im saying , i downloaded the 6.1gig client lastnight installed it , then it wanted to update to 1.5.0.1 , i stoped it from updating due to me popping out and didnt want to leave the comp on so i thought i would re do it when i got back , so i did , but its telling me its ready to play , but if i Search for updates i can still download the update for 1.5.0.1 , but not to worry now since ive got the torrent download link for 1.5.0.1 and im getting over 327 KB/s now.

    Just dl it for now. I had the same prob and the launcher didnt install 1.5 but it said i had it installed then i just dled the patch from the launcher when i opened the launcher around Aug 31 8pm PST it installed the patch.
