CE worth it?

Apologies if this has already been asked before (I was pretty sure it would have been but can't find a likely looking thread on search)...

I've got the standard edition preordered.  Looking at the NCSoft site and the Collectors Edition it appears that all you get are some fluff items and extra emotes.  In the UK these cost an extra £10 which seems kind of hard to justify.  Additionally, even if some more substantive items were included, experience with similar items in other games suggests that after a few months they are pretty outdated.

Nevertheless there appears to be a tonne of people on these boards going for the CE rather than the SE. Has anyone got any reasons why the CE may be worth the extra cash?

    Well unfortunately for you my european friend, the almight dollar is cheaper and is the same price. NCsoft sells the CE edition for 60 USD and Euro. So you get jipped. Also you pay 15 Euro and we pay 15 USD. A 10 dollar expensive lvl 30 wings, 20% xp bonus necklace, and a poster is ok. A 20 USD, 10 Euro, expensive lvl 30 wings, 20% xp bonus necklace, and a poster may not be. I think the majority of the posters with CE are american so yeah.

    Oops.  I just noticed the other thread (Collector's Edition) which pretty much answered all my questions and within a stones throw of the top of the page as well.  And only an hour or so since I deployed sarcasm against someone who did something similar *blushes*.  Who says there is no such thing as cosmic justice or karma?

    As I mentioned in another thread I started, I like the CE perks. Yes, it is an extra expense, but the extra fly time could be a huge help in rift PvP (not the abyss of course since there is not fly time there), faster travel time from point A to point B, and reaching some tougher areas high up.

     

    The exp bonus is nice too. The rest is not as big of a deal, IMHO.

     

    So if you have the money to burn, I'd say go for it. If not, it's not the end of the world.

    main reason i got it was the ingame cost of lvl 30 wings was somthing like 700,000 kinah, or u could get collecters edition and freebee that shit
