Actually Runes of Magic is pretty good for WOWlike MMO. Close , very close to most of P2P MMOs.

In F2P category its probably sure winner.

But If you want name of better MMO:

LOTRO in category of WOW-like MMO.

    EVE in Category of sandbox

I am trying to get the OP's logic.  Runes of Magic is basically a second rate, microtransaction copy of World of Warcraft, sort of a "wet noodle" version of WoW...

Asking people to argue a game against RoM? It's all a matter of opinion, and when you start aruging their opinion you get debates, when you said parties aren't nearly as smart as they should be and don't cite anything or type full words, you have arguements. Those beginning posts that almost seems to purposly create such a situation on an online forum board, tend to be called troll posts. Correct me if this is not such a post.

What the hell do you think forums are for in the first place? Its a center for discussion which includes criticisms and ways of starting debates and it promotes the spirit of debating. We're not all here to agree with things we tend to disagree with, we're here to challenge and criticize (or support) other people's opinions and share your opinions with everyone else. 90% of the content in forums are a matter of opinion -_-

this is the list of all wonderful things you can imagine staring at the list of player names in the overview/local/fleet windows or list of stuff in your hangar. other than that bunch of little blinking crosses/squares in the middle of the screen. that's pretty much whole gameplay.

This is from a guy who CLose beta'd open beta'd and played the launch of RoM

    Lets see what RoM has

A ridculous overpowered class combination in Mage/Priest (Check)

A PvP system that blew goat nuts (Check)

A crafting system where you basically crafted nothing of use (Check)

End Game Armor where you have to buy a grip of Diamonds to Clean items, then Mute them, in some cases people buying 2000 dollars in diamonds (Check)

Instances that were designed for level 25 but a group of 25's had to have at least one 50 in the group to clear it (check)

And Arena System that nobody playes (check)

For a F2P game it was decent, but there are a lot of better games.

Well if I had to make a list it would be too large. IMO, even AOC is better because of the badass decaps/blood and combat system in general. That alone is enough to give me more fun than just about anything in ROM.

[I only lasted in AOC for a month]

You guys really trying to find a game that is better then RoM? Cheez, just point at any direction and there is something that is better then this worthless crap. Even Metin 2 is better, though I once thought nothing can be worse

Wonderland Online.  Graphic is very old. but gameplay is rather entertaining due to the sandboxy type of gaming.

    I am not even trying...

Seriously though, what is "better" is rather subjective, I don't understand the meaning to this thread.
