Please help I am about to reinstall WoW!

I am in the process of reinstalling World of Warcraft after trying many other mmo's Including Eve, Everquest, Vanguard, LOTRO, and going back to guild wars. Anything that anyone would like to suggest before I going back! Thanks in advance!!

If you're really that against playing WoW again, you may want to check out Aion. It goes live on Sept. 22nd, I believe...
well if you quit because you were burnt out, nothing's changed, if you're anything like me you'll end up quitting after just a few days. but yeah, Aion comes out three weeks from today, you might wanna give that a try

Did you enjoy playing WoW? If you did then why the angst about playing again? If not then don't play. I'm not sure what the problem is here.
Sorry can't help you. I quit 4 times over the years but always go back after a few months because as of yet everything else is horrid.

Yes I enjoyed wow but after finishing the available content I got burned out and would still rather try and find another option but looks like I am going to be going back
Last I checked a game is good if you enjoy it, and I did not enjoy any off them as much as I did WoW, glad not agreeing with your opinion makes me a retard.

Yeah but honestly never got that into it, only mid 20's, seemed pretty unbalanced pvp wise, but again did not get that far in, not trying to bash anyone favortie game
i played a wow trial only to realize vanguard is better so i subbed to that. i know you said you tried it but really imho (and its just that) its the best one of them out there atm.

It's called 'addiction', and the only way you can get past it is to resist the urge. Keep giving in, and you'll keep playing the same garbage forever. Go outside, be social, find something better to do than sitting on your ass replaying the same crap you were tired of just a little while ago. You obviously quit for a reason. You think something incredible has happened to make the game super fun since you last quit? Probably not.

If you've already left once, then don't go back again. I know how hard it is to leave WoW, it was a bitch for me. Which is why I can never go back. Cut your fingers off if you have to, just don't do it !!!
Wow blanket statements abound there, huh? I am a marine, married. with an active social life, that games as a hobby on the side, instead of even remotely sticking to the topic you instead assume negatives. Thanks for wasting another 15 seconds of my life.
For a WoW like game look out for Alganon which is going into open beta soon (currently in closed beta).
If you are after a PvP focus try Warhammer, very WoW like, but has its own charm.
If you are after something more tactical focused try Age of Conan which is much improved recently.
I have never tried conan but was thinking about it, the install just finished now for hours of patching
I resubbed after watching Blizzcon. Already canceled my account again. There is a reason we left WoW. It's outdated, it's lackluster, and we've done it all a billion times before.
Just put down the urge. Play an FPS or Console Game or something until Aion comes out. At least with Aion you will get the same if not higher quality of Polish that we love about WoW with a new setting to level up in and a reason to be social.
20 days left. Can you fight the urge for 20 days?

CoD4 and Halo 3 are getting boring two, thats the main reason I am going back! 20 days does not seem that long, I will check out the Aion website, not a big NCSoft fan, they really screwed me with that TR debacle! I am going to dinner with my wife thanks for all the comments, and keep them coming but I will be gone for a bit!

20 days is a long time to wait. If you are anything like me, you want things right here, right now, and usually stop at nothing to achieve that goal. I've wasted a lot of money on MMORPGs that way. Re-subbing to old flings to try them out again adds up. Resub to EQ2, VG, WoW, AoC all within a week of each other because it takes only a few minutes in game to realize why you left in the first place. That's 60 dollars down the drain.
I'd suggest saving that money and putting it into an Aion pre-order, or better yet take your wife to a movie or on a road trip somewhere fun but near by. There are plenty of better things to do with your time and money than to waste it on a "what-if" that you already know the answer to.
If NCSoft and Aion aren't your cup of tea ( I've played the Aion beta, it's nothing like TR and it's a very very fun and polished experience compared to what we've seen lately ) there are many other good games coming out in the near future. Theres a new Halo and COD coming out, Dragon Age Origins, as well as a slew of new MMORPGs next year alone.
Trust me, you'll regret going back to WoW because it won't take you long to realize why you quit again and you can't get that money or time back.

Sounds like you are more than a casual gamer with an active social life if you are bored with Halo and WOW.... Try Ryzom for the free trial, it's a bit old, but might keep you entertained while waiting for Aion.
