Hi everyone.

Thanks but here's my problem.. I have no idea if my vid card is as good or better than a

I have a Macbook Pro I run CO on via Bootcamp. It has very similar specs to your machine, It has the 9600M GT, 4 GB RAM, though I can't remember the processor speeds off-hand. 2.something.
I've only run it with default display setting so far, haven't run it with sliders increased. It runs fine on default though. Most of the time I play on my desktop though as it's certainly a more powerful machine.

Yes it is 9600M >7600gt no question
Thanks for the replies.
your laptop will run it on good settings very nicely, the only thing youll need to watch for is making sure you have up to date video drivers, luckily nvidia started offering laptop drivers on their site not to long ago so gone are the days of having to use modified desktop drivers that had hacked files to make them work and 2 year old wqhl versions that vendors never updated.
Pretty much unplayable for me, I have turned almost everything in the graphics options off and it still runs at 2 fps sometimes. I'm not sure if it's all graphic lag or if it's the new servers being full? Man I want to play this game soooo badlly but there's no way I can afford a new PC to do it with.
I would've bought a 360 version if it hadn't been delayed ( very doubtful that it will ever come out for 360 ). My laptop runs CoH beautifuly so I figured this game would also run. Anyway I hope it's mostly server lag.
I'm totally dissapointed that it wouldn't run on my PC so I put the game disk and account up for sale on Craig's list. That was the very last PC game I will ever purchase.
BTW, PM me if you're looking for a slightly used copy of CO
