Jim Ward, the LA exec who greenlit the NGE and destroyed SWG, is running for Congress.

    "It's time politicians who just want to be politicians got out of the way and let people who have run businesses, created jobs and made decisions they've had to live with, go to Washington and straighten out this mess," according to the election site for Ward, who resigned from LucastArts early last year. "I've got that skill set along with the ability to make the right kind of change. I hope you'll agree."

    Oh god, NO! I bet this is the type of guy who supports health care reform and wants to shove health insurance down the throats of people who neither want nor need it... just like the NGE.

    Spread the word to anyone you know in Arizona not to vote for this idiot.

    As it happens, that would make him my Congressman. 

    His LA affiliation neither qualifies nor disqualifies him, in my mind.  I'm more concerned with the fact he is a member of the DemokratRepublikan Party.

    Very scary stuff.  Let's dissect his quote. 

    1) Do you suppose the whole "made decisions they've had to live with" shows a bit of regret?

    2) Notice he said "I've got that skill set", and not "I hit that level".  Hypocrite, no?

    3) "...the right kind of change."  What's with using the "change" buzzword?  Doesn't he know that word doesn't work anymore, now that America is getting the "change" they asked for?

    He will be torn apart. The age of the republican is dead for the moment.  Unless their SS troops in Blackwater are involved.

    Nah, the pendulum will swing back around. Just like 6 or so years ago when the republicans controlled everything. Each party gains power just long enough to screw up and lose it.
