Mafia-styled MMORPG?

I think a well done Mafia-based MMORPG could be quite a hit these days. Something like, featuring a dynamic politics system with goverment institutions fightning criminal organisations, the possibility to corrupt goverment institutions or infiltrate in criminal organisations, ability to become a "weapon dealer" as a crafting profession or run your own companies, such as car shops which would allow you to do proper bank robberies , and skills being based on the weapon you wield, as they increased in UO but in a FPS style. It would still be an RPG because you'd have a story behind you and evolve your character as whatever you want to become in this big town. For example you could be a cop, but your real purpose is to gain informations for your criminal organisation.
Or maybe I played too much TF2, but still, it would be a nice change from fantasy MMO and I know best since I was a fantasy die-hard, but a sandbox Mafia game would be just fun.

I think it could be good as well, if done properly.
