I would love a OB key. I already have the client downloaded and i really want to test out this beta. Could someone message me a key? I would really appreciate it
Hello ppl! I really want to test AION but do not have a key and I will not buy without first testing. You may be asking, "So What" but some people can not play due to force majeure and the best choice to do is give the key to enable someone to accomplish the purpose of being the key. In other words. If you can not play, let someone else can.
So... I'm not sure if I should appeal to emotion or logic. How about neither? I'm just a gamer. I don't have to play this game, but I've been intrigued by it since I first heard about it two years ago. I had hoped to get into Beta Testing, but was obviously passed over.
It's not going to kill me if I don't get a key for Open Beta. I'm not going to join FilePlanet to get one, and will live with it if I can't get in. Still, I'm intrigued, and wondering if this is going to be my next MMO... but I've bought too many that failed (Vanguard, anyone?) to buy a game without trying it out first. If you'd like to help me out in that arena, and you have a spare Open Beta key, I would be much obliged if you'd send it my way.
If you find someone else's request more appealing, I encourage you to send your spare key to that person.

Ya, this is dumb. If you need a key that's not readily available it's not an "open" beta. If they want to have a closed beta stress test fine, but don't call it open.
Their site isn't clear, it just has all these links telling you to download the client then when you install it you are never prompted to make an account or enter a key. Now I know where they are entered because I have a current active COH/COV (I reactivated it last week hoping NCSoft was going to let in all their current customers) but it's not clear.
I find it strange all their current customers weren't emailed a key, seems to me SOE always lets their current customers in betas, previews, stress test, etc. I also have an active IGN account and use D2D but haven't seen anything about the keys they were supposed to be giving away.
in the same boat as most people here, don't wanna shell out any money for the game unless I feel like i'll enjoy it, I foolishly did that with both vanguard and age of conan, I'm not about to get bitten again!

That's what I thought, I downloaded that huge file, which took forever, because the uploads were so slow, and I thought all I had to do was log in, but now I found out I needed a beta key. By doing that, they're not going to attract new customers, and I didn't see anywhere on their forums to request an open beta key. It was very very misleading.
