Aion Beta Key - What Do I Do With It?

FuryVFuryV Member UncommonPosts: 515

I just received my Aion Beta Key, having PreOrdered the game earlier today.  The open beta for Aion has now started, although seeing as I'm a Beta noob & have never participated in a Beta before, I have no idea what to do with the code I received.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you :)

You download the game from the torrent or from NCsoft, go to NCsoft, make an account and type in your key. It will flag the account for beta access.

OK done, thank you.  Although now when I try to log in it says "You must agree to the aion game service agreement to proceed".  The thig is, this service agreement isn't showing up anywhere at all.  So then I click "OK" on the message that popped up & it just goes straight back to the login screen.

    Any idea why this is?

No clue. Your beta key needs to be a US key though, (unless you live in the EU like me) and make sure the region settings in the launcher are US(or EU). Don't know how to help you further.

I wouldn't bother trying too hard atm anyway, there's so many people piling into the beta servers that you literally can't move from the spawn spot because of the constant rubber-banding.
