"WoW Killer"
People need to chill out using the phrase WoW Killer, not just with aion but with every game. I think people forget that WoW has had 4 years to build on its original form, which tbh wasnt really that special, and i think people would agree with me on that.
Today (more than most) has actually shown what so called supporters of the MMORPG genre are like...they are not supporters at all, they just want to see every other game fail just so their own game wont die out or lose popularity which it most likely would'nt. A MMORPG is intended for the long haul so let them have their chance to build. Aion seems a good game and i am level 16 as i have just logged off. Im looking forward to playing this when it launches...which has been the case for many other games but because of the genres community never had the chance to build.

And also to add to the first paragraph..if i remember NCsoft actually stated they never intended it to be a "WoW Killer". Could someone clarify that?
They released a statement awhile back about thinking the game would take the number 2 slot. Which it might until LOTRO gets released in Asia.
This is truely really WOW killer, but, YES IT IS only in ASIAN market.
perhaps that term has delivered from either Asian or anoymous employee of NCsoft.
Well they simply said that their goal was to reach the #2 spot (presuming WoW would be #1). They have ambitious goals but I guess its possible...
Only people that actually said WoW-killer are players, and it is used by the hater more for some reason.
NCsoft said they expected Aion to be a success and may very well be the #2 game after WoW.
I saw that thread earlier where someone said NCsoft used the world WoW-killer when presenting Aion. ROFLAMO
No sane businessmen will insult the the game with the biggest player population with a new game. Even just by thinking rationally this is obvious. Basher/haters simply will say anything, but so many of those are untrue. They could at least wait like a few days before bashing the game, bashing it the moment server comes online is rather interesting.
