When all is said and DONE
I finally got logged in on EU server Thor, created a couple chars to investigate the possibilites. entered game
I was happy to see the nice surroundings, My expectations was not as big as some ppl's so I enjoyed the levels till level 4
What bothered me was the asdf navigation, Most games allow some mouse navigation / stearing. Eventially i use the mouse to "look" in direction and tap the w key to move that way. Awkward! Using asdfwx is jerky at best.
Then my friend phoned and i exited the game, That was my mistake, since then as before i could not log in again - Still getting the Cannot connect to the autorization server! message. Funny My questions not been answered about that only some general shit about Switching evry nessesary app off on your comuter like antivirus etc. Does not make sence.
Other than that the hour spent from zero to 4 was pleasant.

well if your trying to login now. my server was just taken down for maintenance, don't know about all of them. Yours may be down for maintenance as well.
I have to agree with you on the mouse steering. It is very awkward. forces me to play with both hands at all times. I'm hoping they change this.
ya one line of code the first on the top isnt loved by some anti-virus
i dont have problem with that line yet but one guy who used avg anti-virus reported here that avg detect it as a virus
i tested that line with norton no virus checked it with ad aware no treath
but that line of code in game guard is the problem most gamer have
their anti virus just hate that line i bet probably act like a virus avg think its a virus porly writen software

Lol, I tried three mice thinking it was me with the wierd mouse (drunken mouse) steering. Thank the server god's I have two hands and a keyboard. (This is a keyboard isn't it?).
mouse stearing wow ,most of the game i see get wasd if were in luck or more often its click where you want to go (beurk)
Mouse stearing is nice as its the right hand mostly, then you can fire/dps with other hand using assigned keys and shift/alt/ctrl variations give you 48 " buttons for stuff to do"
Also mouse driving is smoother.

right mouse button turns you, and pushing left mouse button with right mouse button moves you, just like every single other game. The only thing you might want to do is to disable mouse click to move in your options.
I've used mouse steering every time I played, and i've played all of the beta events. perhaps you're doing something wrong?
I could have swore that point and click and mouse steering were included in the closed beta... Am I mistaken? Was I thinking of another game I've recently been trying out?
I think I read there was an option to turn it on and off, no?

lol, I never thought of playing an avatar on a MMORPG is equivalent to driving a car.
Mouse steering and moving worked alright when I played yesterday. I didn't mess with the settings to get it that way, it was default.
The controls are basically like every other mmorpg I've played in the past several years. I thought the mouse look was a bit weird, at times, as I'd have to let go of the button and press it again to get the character to turn properly, but that was minor. (unexpected, but minor)
I'm just waiting for a F2P overhyped sandbox WoW clone with full PVP, epic raid bosses, instanced group content, and Crysis-quality graphics to come out. That, or something fun.
Okay let me clarify. r-click autoattack as well as move you to the NPC / MOB Double click will also, however I was refering to click both l and r buttone and stear with mouse movement, that is not what i could do. I had to move the mouse (made me look at different angle) then pressing w changed direction. the l+r button yes do make you move its only the turning thats awkward.

you can steer with the mouse as long as you hit "w" to move forward, but if you try to move and steer with the mouse alone, by pressing both mouse buttons, you only move straight forward.
make sure to turn on the blinkers
That defeat the object of having one hand free to press buttons, I certainly cant use the mous and press w with one hand, can you?

Ah, Maybe that was my problem with the turning. I guess I don't think about movement all that much in these games anymore. Just seemed like there was something mildly wrong with it, and guess that was it.

Check your options, theres one that allows you toclick to move.
Also, the mouse steering + running with mouse only (by holding both buttons) is a known bug that the devs said would be fixed by release.

Yes I noticed you say that after I made my post, shouldn't be too hard to fix and I'm relieved to here they're aware of it and are working on it.
