I actually will use the key for my bestfriend (unlike some who will try to sell it). Since we left college and got real jobs, we have hardly been able to hang out anymore; it'd be nice to be able to have him play/test out the game with me.

Regular editions are 50 and collectors edition is 60 i believe; but then again you won't get an actual copy of the game, it will be entirely downloaded (which isn't a big deal IMO if you are getting it directly from a server as opposed to a torrent based download).

The problem is I want a boxed edition. I like having the box to add to my collection of games etc. In general its not a massive deal because I can happily wait a day or so till im off work and head somewhere that will be able to give me a pre-order for a boxed edition. I know I need to download the actual game anyway to try the beta, that not the issue, its just im a box collector :P
Sorc would have been my first choise also, I'm quite fast lvl'er, but won't be able to play more than 4hour during weekdays at ~15-22CET, but on weekend I can play alot more and on off-hours also.(unless I get dragged to yet another student party, heh)

You need an open beta-key to be able to play in the Aion open beta , regardless if you play on the EU or US servers
