Any one else who signed up last year (feb-april 2004) and recieved an e-mail that said Wish beta account activated? I have had this e-mail in my inbox for several months now and was sure i would be able to play as soon as beta started but alas it won't let me in as of now 5:45PM Central Time Zone. All servers are currently up it seems. Maybe i just tried to get in a little to early. Just wondered if anyone else has managed to get in who had signed up early last year and recieved the e-mail that confirmed account activated?

    No luck for me. I signed up 3 months ago but it's supposed to be random. Though I wouldn't be opposed to letting people who signed up earliest in first. Since I'm sure the vast majority of the 60,000+ beta applicants only signed up with the FilePlanet announcement.

    What i dont think is fair is that 3000 people are gonna be playing Wish beta 2.0 for the next 30 days, and while 20000 people will only be able to play for the last 10 days.  I love MR a lot but i dont like how they handled it.  They should've thought about it along time ago about activating stuff and from the moment they started applications they should've activated them, and so on.  Well, in WoW i got on beta like a piece of cake and i only waited 3 minutes for me to get activated along with Star wars galaxies, SoR, and Guildwars.  I dont really get why MR didnt do it differently!!! Or maybe im just mad that i didnt get in and some 3000 lucky people got on.

    its a beta test. Its not to please you its to help them do what they need. Get over it.

    Its a beta test that should've been handled a bit differently.  O well, off playing Star Wars Galaxies for a month, and then Guildwars.  Possibly, i will have about 48 hours to enjoy Wish Beta 2.0!

    Hey if you dont like how they handle it then dont beta.. I bet you $5 when you get that e-mail the last week your going to be logging in.

    Sorry for double posting but 3000 beta activation acounts is very low for a public beta test.  I would've like to seen them have about 10000 acounts activated by today!  O well i guess. 

     

    O, how the crap can i get over waiting for this game for about a whole year and then i found out that i got selected in the beta test but havent been activated yet.  And then i found out that i might not be able to play for about 20 more days.  Ya, im dissapointed and i've been wanting to play for a very long time.  Heck, even 24 hours is a long time for me.

    someone on one of the other forums, stratics, warcry, and etc said in the discussion for wish that they selected 3000 people today to play now leaving 57000 people waiting.  I think some1 on MMORPG here in this board gave me a link to it.  I forgot where exactly i got it from.

    If they do about 8000 a day, then that will take awhile and im preparing for the worst.  I always do like when my Stlouis Blues were close to be elimated in the play-offs, i believed it was over and then they came back for win in 6 games!

    I got an activation email.. playing right now :P I think I would of been okay waiting a couple days longer but I am also pleased that I was in the first wave of 2.0 due to the fact that I've been signed up with them since the beginning of beta sign ups were available. Anyways, diving back in! ::::02::

    Today our Wish Beta 2.0 test has started. We received a total of 68,000 tester registrations. 10,000 accounts have been activated today, the remaining will be activated in the next days.

    Not 3k. 10k activated tonight.

    There was a 14.7% chance of getting in today. Not too bad but of course I'm not that lucky.

    I got my notification today that my Wish account has been activated however I can't get Fileplanet to kick in the download for Wish.  I know I just downloaded something from there 3 days ago but now I get "download did not initialize" or "download did not start".  Went in and messed around with all the help stuff like Java enabled, no pop-up blockers, ETC but still no luck.  Any clues as to what is going on here?

    puuh I've finally got my activation email ::::31::::::29::
    and after playing the tutorial I must say I'm amazed so far,
    the graphics look very nice indeed , and the UI is quite neat and practical, and you can move most things freely around ... oh well I hope they can activate more, today

    Assuming they let another 10,000 people in tomorrow. The chances sky-rocket to 17.2%!!!
