Ordered computer

Not a complete computer wiz but I've ordered a computer as it was quite clearly better than my current one. How do you think this system will do on a game such as EVE Online in a 500 man battle with full graphics?

Graphics Card:  ATI Radeon HD 4850 1024MB GDDR3

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache

Memory: Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2P nForce 430 PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Optical Drive: LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter

Power Supply: Corsair CX 400W ATX Power Supply

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7850+ Black Edition 2.80GHz

Processor Cooler: AMD Black Edition Approved CPU Cooler

Acceptable card. Not great but ok I guess.

    Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
One of the better regular harddrives. Not as fast a a Raptor or a SSD but it does it works well and Seagate makes good stuff.

    Memory: Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel
Corsair makes good stuff. 4Gb is enough. Good.

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2P nForce 430 PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Gigabyte do give a lot for little cash. Not in the same class as A-BIT but not bad.

Optical Drive: LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter
DVD drives are not that different. LG is fine.

Power Supply: Corsair CX 400W ATX Power Supply
Uh-oh. Corsair do make superb PSUs but 400W is not enough. You need at least 450W but you should probably get 500W to be sure.
ATI Radeon HD 4850 System Requirements
    * PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard

    * 450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended (550 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7850+ Black Edition 2.80GHz

Processor Cooler: AMD Black Edition Approved CPU Cooler
I have no clue but I am sure it is ok. I reccomend a good cooler for any AMD, it have always been AMDs weakest point, it like to overheat. And a good fan doesn't cost much.

It should work fine but you can never be 100% sure until you tried it. The GFX card is somewhat weak compared to both ATI and Nvidias top products. The rest is fine, except the PSU.

You made excellent choices for the price point, exactly how I woulda built it. The 4850 is the best ~$100 GPU out there, in many games almost as fast as a 9800 GTX+ which is 40 bucks more. The 7850+ is also a really good value.

A quality 400W PSU is just fine too as the video card manufacturers always overestimate the PSU requirements to take into account the cheap ass PSU's that overrate themselves. Take a look at this:
    http://xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/system-wattage_6.html#sect0

That system has an E8600 and a Radeon 4850 and draws 189W max. A 7850+ takes about 20W more than that but still right around the 50% load mark for a 400W PSU which is great.

Now as to the real question about how it performs in Eve, I don't know how much Eve requires but someone said in another thread they did massive PVP fights with a lesser system than you just posted so I think you're good.
