Hello guys, maybe many people asked for this already but I really wanetd some opinions directly on my wares.
I know its really old and i should change it, im asking if i can play the game with my spec because technically.. i can run the minimum but not the maximum.. but i find that theres too much of a differencebetween the 2 to really gage myself.
my spec are..
window xp family.
2.5 gig of ram
Nvidia AGP 7800GS
core 2 duo 2.2GHz
maybe some of you tested the game (beta) already with that kind of ware.
thanks

Get a better video card if you can.
This is probably your best bet for an upgrade.

I know everything is shitty... i would change the whole thing.. i only want to know if the performance will be completely disgusting or if it will be playable and enjoyable.

Hmm, depends on your screen rez and such...
I ran vista-64, 8800gts and 4gb ram and rarely had issues, except near major Sector 1 towns.
I hear that it's gotten better though.
I'm not sure if its a graphics heavy or cpu heavy game but...a 7800GS is pretty weak.
It'll be playable, I don't know if it'll be enjoyable though
Cause like right now in towns, with everyone only like level 2-4 right now, my HD 4870 X2 can't put out decent FPS. I have to put everything on minimum to not CRASH in towns.

I have a 4890, 30-40 fps in towns. I was thinking if there may be something that you can do to sort things out, as you should be having better then me?
I don't know how that will affect your view on the OPs hardware though as I'm not familiar with it. Was thinking that if there is something that you can fix your guesstimate on the the perfomance would change.
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

Hey guys, Now the game has been release for about what? 2 week with preorder thing. At the top of my post you can see my spec.. anyone tried with a similar spec? anyone know if I could be enjoying this game? I am really just about to buy it but im very wondering if it will be an extreme lagfest. Also, i really dont mind lowering my graphic.. graphic are not that important for me.

Those two first benchmarks is something that I have done. The first could be somewhat comparable to yours, I hope, but look at the third result and compare to your system.
The second benchmark is taken on a laptop, not default test and I can't really remember what setting I changed. It could be the resolution changed to 1280x800. On that computer I have to turned graphics to medium textures/no shadows/all sliders set at 70% and get 30-35 fps in a populated place, the bank outside Kingman. I would expect a high populated place like Embry would make it lower. If I turn down all settings I get 50-55 fps. No AA.
The reason I brought in the first test is because Vanguard ran better on the laptop then it did on that one. Even if the 3dscores is worse, but the resulotion that I ran Vanguard was lower 1280x800 vs 1680x1050.
I shouldn't really recommend you anything as I don't know how well a AGP card compared to its PCI-E brother, sorry. But maybe you get closer to making a descicion, togheter with others input. It feels a 50/50 chance that you could run it if you're not going for a to high resolution. The laptop is using 1280x800.

You can run the game at 1024X768 with your settings turned down without much of a problem with that system. I have similar, except I have a FX-60. It ran on it though not really great.
All of this is very interresting, as ive called it... i really dont mind lowering the texture and graphic.. but if im putting everything on low and still get extreme slutthering and hitching it wont be nice.
