Ok, Im not very good at computers when it comes down to hardware. Well my last one (GF 3 Ti 500) had problems with WoW when I entered big cities. Instead of the city I got my screen covered with big squares in all colors and when I looked up in the sky it got covered with them too.
Now I got my hands on a newer one, (Radeon 9550 256 mb) but I haven't been able to test it in WoW yet becouse of the EU FB isn't out. So I wonder if someone know if this card will work better/good?

That is alot better.
You can run the game ok now. Just tune down graphics settings if they are on max, down in big citys.
But I do not realy know. Just test it in the FB. Good luck!
Yeah deal with it, or else

RETURN IT! RETURN IT! RETURN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ATI Radeon 9550 256MB, the worst card ATI could have ever released for an insanely stupid price!
I work for a Computer Store, that freaking card is the most returned video card for the past 2 months!!!
Don't let the 9500 fool you! Yes, the ATI Radeon 9500 *****PRO***** was an amazing card for it's time! But that was the PRO!!! 9550 is not, I repeat, NOT, more powerful, it's not equal, it's not even CLOSE to being as fast as the famous legendary ATI Radeon 9500 Pro we all loved and wish they didn't discontinue!
It's so slow. People have bought that card thinking they could run Half-Life 2 on their Pentium 4 3.0ghz... the game lags so much with the 9550 they have to set all their graphics to Medium or Low!!!!!!!!
You want a good video card? Try finding any ATI Radeon 9600 series if you can! Normal, Pro or XT, they were all great cards.
Or if you must, try getting a Geforce FX5900. That's what I have, it may be 50-100$ more expensive than a 9550, but damn does it rock! I'm running at 1024x768 75hz textures High, almost all options at High except Anti-Aliasing OFF, shadows OFF and Worlds of Warcraft runs so smooth it's scary. Why is it scary? Cause I couldn't run Star Wars Galaxies and Everquest 2 with high settings without lag... then I get WoW and NO LAG! Woah... my dream MMORPG, finally!

1 gb.
This was a christmas present from my parents. They usually don't give me anything that has any connection to computers at all but I guess they thought it was time to put my standars a little higher, and I hate returning presents so Im "stuck" with this card
What one?
Same answer as the one I gave Vampyr, plus I don't have much money lying around.
Thanks all for the replies!

As long as the card itself is better than your old one, you'll be fine.
More importantly, what kind of RAM do you have? YES this makes a difference depending on the kind of ram (not the maker, the specific kind)
IMO WoW is a more RAM heavy game than it is video card heavy, and it runs fine on my system at mid-to-high settings with a radeon 9600 SE 128mb vram with 1 gig DDR400 ram.
