    I know I am an old fart, but I can keep up with the best of them, well, at least I think so. LOL

    I started PC gaming in 1992 when the original Wolfenstein was released.  Then moved on to Doom, Hexen, Duke Nukem, Doom 2 and kept on trudging forward.

    In 1997 to early 98, I screwed up and picked up UO.  It was all down hill after that.  I was hooked on mmorpg's.  I have played just about all of them to where I am today.  Now I just dabble in AoC, but concentrate on flight sims i.e. IL2 Sturmovik 1946.  Found a great squad and fly with them almost on a nightly basis.

    I dont look at it as a waste of time, in fact I have encouraged my kids to play WoW and other mmorpg's.  They have multiple toons in the 80's with purple gear and you name it. They have straight A's in High school and my oldest just started college.

    When I hear this crap addiction, bad for kids, parents taking computer's away, spending too much time...blah, blah, blah, I get upset with the parents.  You see, it is the way you present this to the kids.  You just dont throw the game at them and walk away.

    You have to interact with them.  I cant count the times I physically quested with my kids from WoW, City of Heros, EQ2 and presently AoC.  I am divorced and hardly see my kids, now that they are getting older, but we have a special connection between us.  It is called:

    DSL and Cable.........LOL

    @outfctrl

    pretty nice room there.  My fiance and myself have something similiar.  She has 24" brand new imac on a huge desk, I have 2 home built PC's.  We just moved in and still in the building process.  I need to put up some shelves in here and replace my old desk.  We call our room our "command center" which is more to irritate my fiance's parents that we're such geeks than anything.

    I gotta ask though, whats with the tube television set?  With all the gadgetry I would expect maybe an LCD or something..

    Just awesome!     Now you just need a keyboard that has backlight keys for major winnage.

    If you go to the site where that image came from you'll see that the chairs they use are Porsche seats.  They have complete controls all the way down to heated seating that they power.  Dont know who would want a heated seat, id like a cooled seat myself.  Heated seat + multiple gaming hours = major swamp ass.

    That's where I bought mine.  249.00 + 100.00 shipping.  Got it within a week.  Very well packaged and super simple to put together. Someone has to be there to sign for it, so I had it shipped to my office.

    Make sure you have a variable speed screw gun.  All the screws use an allen wrench type head.  It comes with Allen wrenches. but you will be hating life trying to put it together by hand like that.
