Am I missing something?

in Champions Online

I've paid for a lifetime subs but when I login the Launcher shows the server status as 'down' when the web site shows the server status as 'up'.

I also see a message about 'no shards...something, 2 tickets held'.

Is the game up and running, is the beta still running? What's the status? I can't find any of this basic info on the CO site and my ticket about this has gone unanswered for 3 days now.

    1. lol we're in the same boat. I as well purchased 6 month sub digitallly. What they sent me was an order number plus a warning '' when contacting us, please include this order number " .
    2. Now the server is down, i don't know for what reason yet. What i'm aware is this is getting sticky, I requires me to use the " activate key " , where the hell on earth i will get that from? remember i did not buy the game box.
    3.  as recommended I tried to rummage some info from www.champion-online.com/support , then I attempted to ring them on these 2 numbers, +1-408-354-7850 and 1800 8838895. Guess what? gamestaff said they've no responsibilities for producing activate keys.
    4. last straw, attempted to post a thread on the forum, tragically It won't let me. Now where the crap I should cry out loud?
    5. Screw you mystic! I assume i lost 74 bucks(in AUD)

    Interesting. I wonder if I need to buy a key even though I paid for lifetime?

    The lifetime and 6 month offers only refer to subscription costs.  You still have to buy the game, just like with any other p2p mmo.

     It's because you did not enter the RETAIL key.  You entered the PREORDER key only.  They look identical in format but are not the same.

    For example, I got mine from gamestop.  I received a pre order key.  Then i got your same message and went back to the emails I from gamestop after ordering the game and one said, "you will need this RETAIL key......."

    So if you ordered online, go back to your email confirmations and you will see the code somewhere in one of those emails.

    Yes if he waits a couple of months itll come down in price like ALL video games do.  But he was asking about right now and right now its 50 bucks regardless of where you go.

    Not my 1st P2P MMO but is my 1st lifetime subs. The lifetime subs confirmation email I got gave me the impression that was all I needed.

    I guess I can just put it down to brain-fade.
